Came with my 2 yr old and some family to an a empty chilis. For some literally baffling reason we were sat next to the bar… Reminder its so empty that the only people there are drinking at the bar. So instant confusion but we take it stride. Now obviously having a child right next to potentially drunk patrons isnt ideal. You would think that would be a “common sense” thing regardless of age but thats not even the best part. When we request a high chair like anyone parent with a toddler would we are first ignored. I ask again and we are told “no we cant give you one because we are too close to the bar and it will block our waking path.” …… now what would go through your mind being told that after looking around and seeing every other table in the restaurant empty? Why were we sat there? Because they didnt want to clean any other sections? Now this where our server ( no name on receipt oddly enough but she was a young mexican waitress who worked Nov 2 around 12:pm ) just …. Waked away from us while we were talking to her…. If i could project my emotions like she did to us i promise i would have made her quit instantly and probably move out the state on how bad i wanted to flame her in front of everyone but i figured letting everyone know that Millville Chili’s is filled with incompetent, self centered, and unprofessional employees is much better and less effort on my behalf. Seriously though stop hiring individuals that cant separate personal feeling in professional settings. Food cant be rated because after being treated like that and not being able to get a highchair due to THEIR choices we enough for us to just get the check for the drinks and roll out there to enjoy some texas roadhouse where guess what? We were provided a highchair for our child!! Miracles. If i could give zero i...
Read moreJust had the best experience of any 🌶️ Chili's @ the Millville location....they have gotten their act together and at this point should be a training location that other locations should learn from. From the minute we walked in the door, promptly greeted, rather than lie to you about wait time, they honestly said not sure on wait time, ended up only being a minute. They wipe the menus down, they remove everything from table when cleaning bussing table instead of wipe around the stuff that stays on the table......our server Jaylyn promptly greeted and introduced herself and answered all questions, took drink and appetizer order and allowed us time to decide on meals. Patiently took our orders with lots of special requests, got it all correct and most importantly repeated it back to confirm each order. Checked back and got anything we needed. I was impressed to see amount of help and not short staff, managers walking around checking on quest unlike other locations. Passing employees stop by just to remove empty plates, which again most locations allow to stack up which is my pet peeve that and empty drinks which was not a problem here. Food came out with only 1 minor mistake which was easily and promptly corrected. Food was cooked perfectly, everything was hot unlike many locations. Usually I never get desert but they have a Reese's peanut butter pie so I forced myself and it was sinfully delicious. I made it a point to call manager over and tell her whatever she is doing to keep it up because it is a much better experience here then in the past and way better experience then any other location in South Jersey. We also made sure to do the survey giving all excellent.
Definitely will be back to this location and request...
Read moreThis visit was overall OK & not what we were expecting.
We had hoped to enjoy their complementary chips & salsa, quick table service, outstanding food and clean bathrooms that we've come to know and love Chili's for.
This visit was ok & had a bit of room for improvement.
Despite the restaurant not being busy and had just a handful of diners, we had to hunt down staff a few times when we couldn't find our waitress.
When the food came out, it tasted great but presentation could have been better.
One of us ordered chili and said it tasted like just taco meat with heavy seasoning and a sprinkle of cheese and onion on top.
Sauce on the chicken crispers was light instead of heavy like we remembered.
Chips and salsa were tasty but are not complementary anymore. We miss that little detail.
Our waitress was friendly but was slow to quickly bring us things like napkins, enough dining ware and straws, refills on the drinks, our bill had an error that when she corrected it was still wrong and we had to remind her to bring us the dessert that accompanied our meals.
Bathrooms needed paper and were not very clean.
Overall, we have had much better dining experiences at this location in the past that have blown us away. Tonight's visit was far from what we have come to expect...
