Use to enjoy going to Aldi. But recently it's been a miserable experience. Here is the biggest issue: Management. The management is horrible. The price signs are often incorrect and the items ring up more than the listed price. Usually, if it's a few cents more, I don't say anything. But recently I was getting a dozen of these snacks that had a sign for 65 cents and they were ringing up for $1.65 instead. When I asked the cashier about it, she messaged someone to check the price. That woman (who I assume is a manager) said they were $1.65. I was confused because I had just picked up the snacks. So, I went back to the isle to see that the woman was removing the snacks from where the 65 cent sign was to another location! I told this woman that "ok, so the snacks were located where it says 65 cents." The manager rudely informed me that customers need to "carefully read the signs because the items aren't always located next to the correct sign." Excuse me? The manager should have simply said "sorry, that price is not 65 cents because someone either used the wrong price sign or didn't put the item in the right place." Instead this manager made me wait while she looked for the price, then sneakily moved the items so they weren't near the sign (so that there was no food by this sign whatsoever), and then told me it was my responsibility to read the signs. Here's an idea: why don't they just put the correct signs in the correct places? So,...
Read moreQuality Foods and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful. They close at 8:00pm and that means you need to be in the check out by 7:50 pm because they like to get out of there on time. Can’t blame them. There’s public restrooms with a baby changing table just in case. What else? Oh the best time to check them out is during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. That’s when you will see all the new specially selected items on sale along with all your German favorites. I wish they would sell their butter pecan stollen as a regular item. It’s very expensive online. I could make my own but it wouldn’t be as good as ALDIs. All in all I love shopping Aldi and I can always find something different and yummy. But seriously though Aldi owners please make your Stollen loaves a new regular product. Last Christmas I went in to purchase three cases and they only had five loaves left. It was a sad day when I left. Please order more this year. And bring back lots of the stollen mini loaves too. The kiddies love them. One more thing, the holiday packaged Stollen that you sell is no where near as good as the original ones in the clear bags which come in Cherry, butter pecan, and marzipan. They are super fresh for being previously frozen. I wonder do you have a website where I can order them any time in large quantities? That would be...
Read moreI went into Aldi today around 12:30 p.m., as I usually do at least once or twice a week. I asked a young lady who worked there if she knew if they would be getting any more patio furniture. She very rudely informed me that I'd have to "ask someone else" because "she was busy. I asked the other worker who was also a young lady and she couldn't have been more helpful. As I walked into the next aisle, the rude young lady was there asking other customers if there had been an accident nearby. I waited until she was done and asked to speak to her manager, to which she replied, "I am the manager" and gave me a condescending grin as if to say "haha I win". She told me her name is Vikki. This is not the first time I've been treated this way by this same employee. A few months ago, she said to me, "I don't have time for this," and stormed off. I found out it was because she was going through a breakup. I will now start shopping at a different store,...
