This is one of the newer Tasty Pot locations in the area. My friend and I came here for an early dinner on a Monday evening. I was surprised to see how packed this place got when we were done.
#HotPot: ~ Takoyaki - 3.5/5 I might be a snob when it comes to this dish. I spent a good amount of time in Japan. This was OK to me, most definitely edible. I just had much better...
~ 09. Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Soup - 4.5/5 This was a generous amount of food. My buddy commented "this is for one person?!" lol. Great flavor and a healthy amount of ingredients. I would most definitely get this again. The staff came by and added more soup upon request as well...
~ Beef Sizzling Plate (w/ Udon) - 4.5/5 The Sizzling Plate is a new item. We didn't see it on the physical menu, it was only available through the QR ordering system. We opted to get Udon noodles instead of Rice. The Sizzling Plate was just about perfect. Another item I wouldn't hesitate to get.
~ Rose Marcha Latte with Boba - 5/5 An absolutely brilliant Boba drink! A healthy dose of Rose flavor with a complimentary accent of Matcha. Not too sweet...delish! I opted for Crystal Boba. My drink was perfect!
It was a good amount of food for two people, both of us were stuffed. In fact, after eating we had to and walk around Ranch 99 just to stretch and fool our minds into thinking we were actually getting some exercise...lol.
I'd most definitely return, especially in those cold winter...
Read moreAs a vegetarian I usually don't get much variety in hotpots but this place was good. It was nice to see that Tasty Pot has options for vegetarian food. We got a Vegetarian hotpot, Fermented Tofu, Rose Milk green tea and Hokkaido Milk Tea.
Fermented Tofu was interesting, but I guess it's more of an acquired taste maybe... My husband liked it though. Both the teas were good. We got one with the Surprise gift, which I thought was cute. The hotpot itself tasted really delish. We went with the original spice level and it was perfect for us. It was full of veggies and mushrooms. After reading a few reviews, we had ordered extra noodles on the side and it was a good tip indeed. Also the accompanying sauces on the table are must try. Those really elevate the taste. Service was good here. Not much direct interaction with people since you order on the phone, but still they seemed eager to help. The place was clean. P.s. I was here for the...
Read moreSolid hot pot spot located near the Ranch 99 off Barber / off the 237 opposite of McCarthy Ranch. This is nestled to the left of 99 Ranch, and is next to all the good Chinese food options. For personal hot pot though this place hits the spot. Ample parking but may have to walk a short distance and definitely do not leave any valuables in the car (lots of glass break-ins).
Prices are mildly high but your portions are quite sizable and there are some solid options. They don’t skim on the servings and I have always felt quite satisfied after eating here.
You can choose size and spicy level for most options and they have a good selection of sauces to use. Personally I’ve tried the curry pot, beef pot, the stinky tofu pot, the miso pot and the Korean dumpling pot. All have been good depending on the mood. There’s possibility of a wait because this place is quite popular. Def. a solid choice if ur...
