Chubby's Cheesesteaks Walker’s Point — Restaurant in Milwaukee

We ordered for pick up through the Slice app. The restaurant had to call me and let me know that the Chicken Alfredo I ordered was no longer available... so I exchanged it pretty seamlessly for loaded tots. My husband ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich. When we got home we were not pleased with the appearance of the food. The loaded tots were covered in a layer of old salad/lettuce then a layer of cheese with some chicken and tots buried at the bottom. It was not great. My husband says his sandwich was not worth the price we paid. The photo on the website showed a larger chicken parmesan on a larger bun. Slice was kind enough to offer us a credit. Not sure if I would order from here again. I think we tried this place when it first opened and didn't like it either so we will probably keep...

I'm giving it 2 stars because the guy behind the counter was nice, but that's all the nice things I can really say. We got the normal cheesesteaks and there was basically no steak on either of them. You opened the tasty, but cold, bread to find the bare minimum of meat. There was also no flavor to the meat. The cheese was just put on the top of it and most of it came off on the wrapper. It was cold and boring and just not worth the $9 for each sandwich. I'm usually not one to write a bad review, but this was really bad and I sadly won't be back. The counter person was nice, but couldn't hear customers over fan/machines. They seemed to be understaffed so the wait was long on what appeared to be a busy time. Our first time there we ordered the signature sandwich. The bread was excellent, the beef good, however we were not told it would be smothered with canned liquid cheese. Very disappointing as there are other cheese options on the menu. This would have been a much better sandwich with mozzarella or provolone cheese which are among the cheese options available. Also no signs were posted saying dine in was not available, we had to drive 35 minutes...
