My wife and i were in town for the 2018 Irish Festival. Upon the recommendation of a very kind bartender at our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) we decided to check out Mo's. It is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel and the weather was fine, so we hoofed it. The place is pretty easy to see because it's at the front "tip" of a building that had an acute corner, and the green paint and large "Mo's" sign didn't hurt either. The inside of the place is large, but somehow cozy, too. There are high old-world looking panels between some sections of the bar, giving a little privacy while still allowing the bartender to serve. The menu was pub grub with an Irish and Milwaukee flair. We tried the cheese curds, because the hotel bartender said it's a Wisconsin thing. They were pretty tasty, though we probably ate way too many. We had a sandwich and a beer for lunch and they were also very tasty. Over all I'd say the place had a good Irish vibe, with good decor, good staff, good prices and good food. I would recommend it to other visitors for sure and

We initially came here to have the Irish Dinner of Corned Beef and Cabbage only to find it’s only available on Wednesdays. So, we ordered the Pot Roast and Shepherd’s Pie, both were very good. Veggies were excellent. We decided to come back on Wednesday to have the Corned Beef and Cabbage. It was overall disappointing: the corned beef was shredded and a bit dry. The cabbage was boiled with Caraway seeds (eww)! The potatoes and carrots were great. All items were clearly made separately, well thank goodness, because those caraway seeds ruined the cabbage. We will be looking elsewhere for the Corned Beef Irish Dinner. The cheese curds on the other hand are the best I’ve had but I’m no true Wisconsinite. Pretzel was excellent the first night and was hard in some places the second night we went, so hit or miss. I know it’s an Irish spot but wish they had the German mustard for the pretzel. The 4 cheese sauce and honey mustard were pleasant surprises. The cookie was good, could have baked a bit more but it is about personal preference.

This place has an entrance facing the corner of the street. As you walk in, you'll find a bar that is center to linear side of the restaurant. Seating along the sides with Irish decorations all around. Part of the seating includes and raised dance floor that I assume accommodates special events in live entertainment. On this last visit I had a pub burger and found that the texture of the bread was soft and pleasant. The beef. Patty was delicious! Juicy and had a good texture to it. The optional bacon was cooked just right too. Serving the tomato and onion on the top on was an interesting service choice. Doing so allowed me the option of easily removing something I didn't want. Host was charismatic and especially helpful. Pricing was just about right for this small meal coming in at about $20 a plate.

Big, roomy Irish pub with loud great music list. We rocked out while enjoying if our Guinness and Corned Beef. I really liked the CB sandwich with fries and pickles The wings with bone in looked decent but I didn’t taste them. Overall the menu is selections are limited. We did get greeted warmly by the hostess and seated right away.
