ZARDETTO ‘PRIVATE CUVÈE’ BRUT - PROSECCO, ITALY - N.V - $12
Dry, refreshing, and bursting with energy! The bubbles release aromas of pear, apple, and peach. On the palate, it offers a hint of spice and a crisp sensation. A fun and lively Prosecco that’s sure to kick off any occasion right.
‘GREEK ROSÉ’ - KIR-YIANNI ‘AKAKIES’ | MACEDONIA, GREECE - 2023
Made from the native grape Xinomavro, this one sure is Greek to me—and probably to you too! But hey, the producer, Kir-Yianni, has crafted this native variety into one of the most aromatic and delicious wines around. Its bright wild strawberry notes suggest sweetness, but it finishes completely dry and balanced.
PRO-PAGNE - PROSECCO MEETS CHAMPAGNE + A CAVA - $22
Look out — this wine list is on fire! Three half flutes are placed before you. One is Prosecco, one is a Spanish Cava, and the last is the real deal—true Champagne. Your task is to identify all three, and if you succeed, you’ll be a Champ-ion! You know what they say, ‘No ‘pagne, no gain!’
'BARBIE SPARKLES' - DOMAINE RONDEAU BUGEY CERDON, FRANCE - N.V - $15
One of the most intriguing wines from France is unapologetically pink, slightly sweet, and bubbly. This wine hails not from a town or even a small village, but from the tiniest of hamlets in the south of France. Typically enjoyed as an aperitif, it also pairs beautifully with our array of Chocolate Boards and Crème Brûlée.
DANCE KIWI DANCE! - A NEW ZEALAND SAUVIGNON BLANC DOES THE FLAMENCO - $17
Everyone seems to love a crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, but there's a Spanish white wine that wants to challenge the beloved Kiwi to a dance-off. Entering the discotheque is Pardevalles, a white wine made from the ultra-unknown Albarín varietal. This rare grape type is indigenous to Northwest Spain, and is suspiciously close to a New Zealand Sauv. So can you identify the Kiwi? Is the beloved Sauvy B the star, or is the Albarín taking the crown?

My wife and her friends went here today and I was very disappointed by the odd and inconsistent service. If someone asks for a spoon, they do not need to give a reason why, and it should not take 30 minutes. The need, mixing cream and sugar into a coffee that was too floral for her taste, is moot when the coffee is gone or cold by the time a spoon arrives. The Croque Monsieur was wonderful but some more non-pork menu items would go a long way. The staff also blatantly lied to my wife and friends about the second floor not being available for seating, despite the upstairs being what they were excited to be there for (beautiful space, lots of Insta pics). After being seated they saw three groups of people with no reservations walk to the second floor and confused with the fact that they’d been lied to. The bathroom was another questionable experience for my wife and her friends. The toilet paper rolls were empty, yet a half-used roll was left on top for customer use. And a bunched up paper towel on the credenza made them wonder what the actual level of cleanliness was. Overall the location was lovely, the food options seemed limited but had some bright spots, and the service was so bad that will never spend a dollar there prior to some operational changes being announced. I am normally a very positive person for reviews and wish to always lift up bright spots in our communities, but how people treat each other speaks...

Had a wonderful time at Milly’s! The decor is quaint but comfortable with lots of Mucha artwork on the walls and a stocked bookcase at the front. There is a 2nd floor and I was pleased to see they have an elevator for accessibility.

I even chose 2 mystery wine challenges from the menu- the Find Ron Burgundy and the Guns and Rosé challenge. What a fun and unique idea! And not to brag or anything but I won both and was awarded a button. 😎

The whipped ricotta was okay. The chocolate mousse was very good. The deviled eggs were incredible- I am a deviled egg expert and these are among the best I’ve ever had! The prices are decent for a wine bar- one of my wines was a delicious Granache at $9 a glass and all of our food items were $10 or under.

Bonus points for serving the check within a book- the passage that was marked in our particular book seemed fitting to the current theme of my life so it was very cool to read through it a bit and now I must buy a copy!

Our server was great, I was asking a lot about wine and engaging about the mystery challenges and he was friendly and fun.

The wines were all simply delicious! I will definitely revisit on a Wednesday for their wine discount and a...

We have reservations to come here with friends in a couple weeks' time, but as we were in the neighborhood today, we decided to drop by and check it out. It was a sunny Wednesday afternoon and we managed to get parking on the street right outside. They were busy but offered us a place on the outdoor patio. Service was friendly and efficient, with a knowledgeable sommelier too. Food was awesome - lots of small plates to pick from. Wine, as you'd expect from a wine bar, was excellent. In addition to a comprehensive wine list, they have some fun offerings, like the trio of half flutes of sparkling wine I chose: you get a prosecco, a domestic sparkling wine and a champagne, and you have to guess which is which. They do a similar wine pairing too, with 2 half glasses of red or white wine - and again you can try to figure out which wine matches the description you read on the menu. The burrata was very tasty, as was the mini cheese board. Overall, the place has a relaxed vibe and friendly staff, with great food. So glad we already have reservations to return soon - I have a feeling this will become a favorite...

We went to their brunch soft opening. Thanks to Milly's for the invite! I really liked the ambiance of this place. It would be perfect as a happy hour spot, girls brunch, or for date night. We didn't go upstairs, but the main floor was a delight. They also have a small patio out back. I love to see more places like this popping up downtown. It's about time! We enjoyed most everything we ate which included lox on a half bagel with cream cheese, four mini croissants (which we shared and were good but we wished we'd known there was only one of each flavor), a mini quiche (souffle?) with a side salad, and drinks! The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the yogurt with fruit and granola. It needed just a tiny bit of a honey and was too big for me. That being said, everything else was pretty light so order at least two things. Service was great. The drinks were good. Think wines, bubbly, and champagne. I appreciated that they had many N.A. options as well. Street parking.
