This place is a life saver for being open at Midnight on a Saturday. I came to Minneapolis for a concert and it ended very late. I liked the pizza but for a personal it was expensive. This here's the primo capicollo. I liked the dough and the taste of the toppings-- but my advice? Don't get the dessert. I got the Tiramisu and it was frozen without having any flavor. Pizza good, sweets not so good.

The wings I just had delivered were so burnt on the side they cooked on they were not even edible. It’s sad because that means either they didn’t check the food before sending it out or they just don’t care about the quality of food that leave the establishment. Never again !

Ordered a Santorini pizza. Super fast preparation, surprising for a weekend night. Almost a perfect pizza. Could use a bit more gyro meat. My bigger issue though was the olive oil had a rancid taste that changed the enjoyability.

Former driver here, do not order from this location, try ordering from the Roseville 2216 County Rd D West, Minneapolis, MN 55112 location as it offers much better service and management/ownership group. The owners of the downtown location, scam their customers and do not follow the rules, lettuce is left in room temperature for hours, customers get sick from the food at the downtown location, the owner cancels all the cash orders everyday so he doesn't have to pay sales tax, he pockets the money he would otherwise have to pay the sales tax with that he charges every customer to pay. He steals hours from his drivers, lowering their paychecks, he pays drivers under the table because he can't get anyone to work for him, his brother will take all the tipped orders during the day and there's nothing you can do about it, the owner doesn't keep up the maintenance of the store or his company vehicles. He charges every customer an extra $1 to give drivers a guaranteed $1 tip from North Minneapolis orders but he charges EVERY customer the extra $1 in menu pricing (there's a reason this location is expensive, they need to extract as much money from their remaining customers as possible so the owner, Jeff, can go on vacations. Nobody that works there wants the owner to be there, he can't even make a pizza and his english is very bad. They employ straight immigrants, some illegal, because nobody else will work for him. The professional people that do apply and accept work here don't last long, they leave within a month.

This location is understaffed due to the owners, the owners brother does take all the big orders...

If any honest food inspector would inspect the place, they'd be shut down, DO NOT EAT ANY SALADS THERE...

The owners rules force bad service, too big a service area with too few drivers and not enough insiders to do the job. There's a reason your orders take forever to get there. Drivers get robbed and stiffed in most orders for North Minneapolis so you people living there don't order from there, we purposefully took our time due to no tips and it being far from our location. If you took a North Minneapolis order, basically you were working for the hourly wage which isn't much. The owners DO NOT PAY for mileage...

Very hard company to make decent money with, you will be abused and treated unfairly, you will not understand most of the staff since they speak Bulgarian and not much english.

Sarpino's itself makes good food, I love the chicken wings and the pizza's are spicy but pretty good. The downtown location makes the pizza chain look bad.

When you order online, you can change the store that delivers to you, try to order from the next nearest store location instead. I suggest the Roseville location I put above, great service and it's their best store in Minnesota by the way...

Let me start off by saying this is the worst downtown pizza place I have ever saw. Delivered for them as I was going to college. Family owned is suppose to make things better right? But not here! Here, the owner and his family members get the tips, the big deliveries, the cash bonuses. Everything! First of all it’s unsafe, food left out for days at room temp, lettuce is sitting outside, flies everywhere. I honestly swear to you that if they were randomly investigated or a food inaoection team came through, it would be the end. They have too much bad outweighing the good. Illegal employees, owner steals from customers, owner speaks in his own language to his relatives who work there, food quality is way below expected, there’s just way too much to list. I advise do not order from this location and do not get a job here unless you’re just purely dying to experience this place. Ppl get sick because tomatoes aren’t up to date, dough isn’t fresh, basically if CHEF GORDON RANSEY came, he would have this place closed. There’s plenty of other pizza places. Do not go here please. I can tell you as a former employee and former customer, this place is the worst food place you can go to for food. Do not let the free delivery fool you, do not let the OPEN TILL 3am fool you. I honestly hope they learn their lesson and fix up or shut down one of these days. It used to be a 5 star pizza joint of downtown Minneapolis but now it’s 2 stars. It should be closed due to safety and owner should be locked up for stealing, purposely leaving food for cold then delivering and trying his best to not pay taxes so he cancels every cash transaction at the end of the night so IRS won’t know. JUST PLEASE, don’t order from here, don’t eat food from here and stay safe and let friends and family know to watch out for this downtown SARPINO pizza place. I want you all to enjoy good food from good people with good experiences!

Thank...

I love this pizza chain but this particular location should be out of business. I placed an online order, as I have done for years at this location, and I never received it. After 2 hours had passed I called to ask where my food was and the guy on the phone huffed and put me on hold, he then came back to the phone and said the delivery driver was pulling up to my place at that moment. I then waited an additional half hour and still not food. I called back and the same rude a** guy was like, "you will not get you food and you will get your money back", and just hung up on me. I was cool with this until a week had passed an my money was still not refunded. I called back to speak with the general manager and he told me that he would issue me a refund after speaking with the delivery driver. I asked him why did he need to speak to the delivery driver before issuing my refund because I can prove that I never received my food and he just said, "I will give refund", and that was that. I was still cool as a cucumber, until another week had passed and I still was not issued a refund. I called the store back again and the GM apparently was not in at this time. A young woman by the name MIMI was actually the only friendly and kind person that I interacted with at that entire store and she actually refunded me my money. She did something her manager couldn't even do and I was very grateful to her for that. I will never order from this location again; overall terrible service and customer relations. Baffled by them still being in business. SHOUT OUT TO MIMI!! YOU ARE THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS LOCATION!! THEY DON'T DESERVE YOU!!!! OR BETTER YET YOU SHOULD BE MANAGING THEM!!! THANK...
