I have been going to this location since they opened. I will usually go in so I don't add to the drive thru lane traffic. When we first starting going you would go in and order with a real person. This is not the case anymore. You have to order from a kiosk. Fast foward to today. I went in to place my order. I did and the time stamp on my ticket was 9:32 am. There was a gentleman, lady also waiting. 3 more customers came in behind me. After 10 minutes the man waiting was getting upset and went over to the counter and asked about his order. They asked his receipt and then started assembling his order. The lady that was in front of me was getting upset aswell. I asked her how long she had been there she showed me her receipt the time stamp on this one was 9:26, 6 minutes before mine. She ordered a drink and a bagel with cream cheese. I went up to the pick up order counter an asked the young lady about the delay. She said, " let me see the receipt ". She said that they were really backed up. There were 5 people working on drive thru orders. No one helping any of the counter patrons. Now there were 6 of us there. I said to the young lady . " I usually dont complain, shouldn't you have someone workin the front counter? Take someone off the drive thru and clear your counter. She said" Sir I can't talk to you anymore". At this point she backed up and got the Manager. The manager came over and I restated my concerns. She stated that the drive thru was backed up and they were trying. I said I understand, but we have all been standing here for 20 plus minutes. At this point she got my order. I was in the store for 22 minutes. This to me is truly unexceptable. It all could have been corrected by putting someone on the counter orders and 4 people in the drive thru orders. By the way the lady that was in front of me, she was still there when I left aswell as the 5 people behind me. No apologies. No " Have a nice day, or Thank you for your business ". I am in customer service and could honestly say that Someone should be talked to by a supervisor and if this happened again there would be consiquences. I have never written a review that was A This long, B This harse. For that I am sorry. I do hope it helps the Supervisors make changes. Thank you for letting me post...
Read moreI am not traditionally a review writer whether my experience is good or bad but I feel the management of this location needs to be made aware, and since I walked out this morning after waiting in line for ten minutes and saw no discernible manager, this is the only way I can think to do it. Staffing at this location is terrible!!! I just transferred jobs to the Mint Hill location and was very excited to have a Dunkin right around the corner from my work. That excitement is gone. I have tried to go here 4 times in the last 2 weeks to get a simple large iced coffee. Every time besides today, I went through the drive thru and it took forever (15 or so minutes). Today I tried to go inside thinking it may be quicker and it was worse!!! I stood in line for ten minutes while one person made drinks, got donuts and ran the register. He helped one person in that time because she ordered a dozen donuts and had four iced drinks. How is it possible that a location this busy has one person handling all of the customers inside!?! I felt terrible for him. There were three people in line in front of me and non of them were very happy and were actively voicing this to each other and myself. Meanwhile there was still a line of cars wrapped around the building and one person working the drive thru. One guy made hot food and another seemed to be making drinks for the drive thru. I worked in the service industry for a very very long time, which is why I don't generally send these reviews, and I understand staffing up during peak times. THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN HERE. The worst part is that this seems to be a well known fact around Mint Hill based on the peoples accounts in my office and the reviews on here. I love Dunkin and will continue to go to other locations and this one (during non peak hours) but I will not return to this location in the morning before work as I normally would because of this. BTW the person that I pulled in behind upon entering was just at the area to order their stuff when I walked back out so the drive thru clearly needs...
Read moreIt's really aggravating being pregnant and having cravings for things as specific as a dang jelly donut from dunkin donuts. Especially when for whatever reason yall can't plan ahead correctly for the correct amount needed to be made throughout the week. There's no reason why you should be running out early afternoon or really every single evening. I've ran a dunkin donuts before and if you have a high demand for a specific donut you should be planning for your morning baker to prepare a sufficient amount of that kind of donut. If your running out of jelly donuts and jelly munchkins every single day then your not doing your job correctly. Sadly this is a pattern with surrounding dunkin donuts locations as well and its the most frustrating thing that legit ruins my day. I'm so tired of it.ive even started to write down the dates and times i stop at dunkin and get told the same thing "we don't have any". get it together. The store manager needs to do better. Not to mention if you keep running out, making more would increase your profits. Your consistency will eventually lose you business from people who would regularly purchase from your store. Please do better. I'll write a review everytime I come through and I'm denied, also reaching out to corporate. Your tarnishing...
