Resturant is very good and the food as well, but our experience was very bad with the service offered from the waiter (lady). We finished the food and unfortunately my freind cant finish her meal of lamb shank & almost two thirds of the plate still remaining and we asked the lady to have a box togo. She took the plate as she is going to manage togo box in the kitchen. She came with the bill and we paid it with gratuity and still we didnt recieve our togo box and the lady was quite and not giving us any feed back, So we decided to ask where is our togo box? in this time she responded and said sorry the guys in the kitchen through it as they were thinking that you are done. She said that with full confidence without feeling a shame for her mistake or her colleagues mistake and after urguing with her that how this can happened as you are the one who offered the togo service and you took the plate to do the needful? Her reply was mistakes some time happens. Really I was pissed of from her reply for two reasons, The first one is she is shamless and offered some how a rude or shutup reply and second one she knows about the problem and she is not honest and never come back to us and say sorry there is a mistake happened and in this time of course we will consider that it can happen, but the issue she waited and not inform us till we paid the money with her tip and when we asked her she gave this very bad reply. My question if I forgot to have the money for the full meal price, Can I tell her sorry by mistake I have half of the bill only and mistakes can happen??? I will appreciate her if she came and say sorry, there is a mistake happened in the kitchen and at least in this case we will respect her honesty, but it was...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at this event. We paid $20 online to attend the so-called "magical astrology-themed" event, whereas the at-the-door price was $30. Parking was extremely inconvenient; we had to park quite a distance away and walk in the hot sun wearing dresses and heels. Upon arrival, I was unable to enter immediately because the event coordinator was conducting interviews at the entrance, effectively blocking access. I waited outside for approximately 20-25 minutes before managing to push my way in through a crowded and uncomfortable group of attendees—some waiting to be seated, others being interviewed. The situation was crowded and posed a potential fire hazard.
There was no host or staff member at the entrance to check tickets, so guests paid for entry but others entered freely. We struggled to find anyone to direct us to seating, as there were no available seats and no one to assist. We eventually encountered someone who appeared to be staff, but communication was difficult in the noisy environment. Despite showing our tickets, we received no guidance on where to sit, and it became clear that many who had not paid were occupying seats. This created a confusing and frustrating situation.
Additionally, the event lacked organization and professionalism. The DJ played the wrong songs twice, and the music was barely audible during the performances. The event organizers and owner appeared more focused on taking pictures and showing off their outfits than ensuring a positive experience for paying guests. Overall, I felt that my time and money were not respected. After about three hours, we decided to leave and find somewhere else to dine. I cannot recommend this event or venue based on...
Read moreWhat a pleasant surprise! The upscale yet relaxed atmosphere bodes well for Bosforo. Open less than a week, it is a welcome addition to the Emerald Coast, serving scratch-made entrees of Mediterranean fare. A massive shoutout for attention to detail - serving scratch-made food for your patrons is much appreciated!
I usually shy away from newly opened restaurants for fear of needing to get the kinks out. Although Bosforo is a newcomer, and not everything is in place, I’d be remiss if I didn’t emphasize just how wonderful the food and staff are! The owners have given special attention to every detail, from the food and decor to the cooks, wait staff, and bartenders. The staff is caring, personable, and seasoned in catering to guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and visited with bartenders Kyle and Sara, and had the pleasure of meeting the owners.
COCKTAIL: Tonka Bean Espresso Martini - A slow-sipping divine cocktail. So good I had two! APPETIZER: Hummus - delicious with freshly made warm pita bread. SALAD: Roasted Beet Salad - earthy and delicious! Served with mixed greens, roasted beets, goat cheese, chopped hazelnut, balsamic vinegar drizzle and EVOO. MAIN COURSE: Homemade Pasta with Truffle oil, Mushrooms, and Blackened Prawns - To die for! Rustic and rich with flavor and creaminess - the right amount of truffle and umami flavors served with blackened prawns, green beans, and heirloom tomatoes. I hope they keep this on the menu as a mainstay! It’s worth coming back for again and again!
And they aren’t done yet! Plans for an outdoor expansion onto the patio will be semi-covered and...
