Decided to try a new sandwich place. We drive by here so much but never took the time to stop in. It may take a couple times visiting to find our favorite menu item.
I got the chicken club no tomato and no mustard. It was good but maybe a little bland because the mustard would probably have given it a little zing. My veggie spud was good but the red onion was a little strong so I had to pick it off, that’s on me I should have asked for no onions.
Hubby got southwest chicken sandwich and he said it was delicious.
We shared a butter pecan cheesecake and it was very heavy on the butter pecan taste, which left my tastebuds wanting it to be ice cream. The consistency didn’t match and it wasn’t really cold, so I think it was just something new and my tastebuds weren’t happy with that.
All in all, it didn’t blow my mind but the staff was nice and helpful. The bathrooms were clean so I was more than comfortable using them. Hubby didn’t complain about the bathrooms either, which is...
Read moreSignificantly better than expected. Wow! I've passed this place several times but, am I glad I stopped in today! I have a new favorite restaurant in Mishawaka. The French dip was the best I've had. The roast beef was moist, flavorful, and generously portioned. The au jus was tasty and was delivered to our table covered to retain it's heat. We had a slice of cheesecake for dessert that was simply outstanding. I look forward to trying other items on the menu since our first visit was so stellar. The people were friendly, courteous, and attentive. They seemed to all pitch in to make this a pleasurable dining experience. The general manager, Paul, worked alongside the employees, truly exemplifying a cohesive, well-run organization. It seemed everyone took proud in their jobs and it showed so well that when my wife and I left we were still smiling. We will absolutely return and refer all our friends to this...
Read moreChanged menu with out actually changing the physical menu. .75cent upcharge for mac and cheese when the menu says that is a normal side. They let us order the "Big Nasty" that was still on the menu yet when it arrived there was hardly any gravy, barely a drizzle and a couple specks of cheese. When we asked for the gravy that was supposed to be on it we were told "that sandwich is no longer offered on our new menu and we have no gravy left in the store, what is every drop we had left is on there." Yet, they still have mashed potatoes and gravy listed on the menu as a side? Also, they got rid of the pickle bar that was usually there. If you are going to make menu changes, how about actually changing the posted menus and training your people not to take orders for items no longer carried or actually tell the customer at the time of...
