McDonald's by far has the best app with the best deals daily. Generally have little issues at any McDonald's and food is always consistently pretty delicious although not good healthy food but all good in moderation right? Anyways... I've been to every mcd's in SB/Mishawaka/Elkhart region. This particular McDonald's is always the worst. Food is ok I guess, it's hard to mess that up at McDonald's. But they ALWAYS.... Here ... Find a way. Either the shake/frappe is down, they don't mix any shakes, mcflurries, etc with any concern, meaning all toppings, chocolate etc are barely stirred in or at the bottom... But the real problem is the customer service. Once I was asked to leave the store for asking politely to swap a happy meal toy for another (birthday request for my girlfriend) , often ignored inside when trying to get status of an order, and yesterday went through drive thru and asked for a handful of ketchup packets ( had 3 large fries) girl "throws" 3 ketchup packets in bag, closes window, and turns away hoping ignoring me I'll just drive away.. after about 1 minute I get her attention (she knew I was waiting) and asked her politely if I could please get 2 more packets of ketchup. She said that was an extra charge. I said ok how much is it? She said I'd have to drive back around and order them through the drive window ( very busy at the time too at least 12 cars in the drive through behind me). I said "Really? Do you have to pay for the ketchup? What is the issue I just need 2 more packs (actually I would've appreciated 10) she said "yes I do you'll have to pull back around to get more" I was adamant about receiving 2 more packs and she finally gave in and "threw" exactly 2 more packs in the bag I held out open for her to place them in, and then slamming the window again. I came back through the drive about 10 min later cause I ordered a shake and a mcflurry, when I pulled back to her window she handed me a half vanilla half chocolate shake and immediately asked me to pull forward to the wait line for my mcflurry. I then proceeded to wait over 5 minutes before I got out and asked a nice fellow bringing food out to cars to check on my order. He came out not even 30 seconds later with my order.
I get this kind of rude service every time I come to this location. I don't know why, I only come there because it's usually close and we're starving. But I'm always very nice and hoping for a good experience. Never happens. I would recommend any one who can go to another location to do so if they want a better overall experience. But yeah it's mcd's and even with the attitude and half ass food prep, it's still mcd's so...

I ordered ahead on my mobile app, drove all the way from the other side of town, and just to tell them that they got me mobile order.. I said, “how did I tell you the mobile order number if I never ever ordered?” Make it make sense. Then the lady at the first window proceeded to name out all these names in the alphabet after I told her my name, and also my Mobile order and she still kept saying different names. Once she finally figured out, the receipt was right in front of her face she gave me the receipt and then I pulled forward to the second window. The lady at the second window began to give me a order that wasn’t mine, and I rejected it due to the fact that it’s not mine and she asked me if I ever went to the first window?. I told her how can I move forward to the second window along with the receipt if I never went to the first window? Make it make sense. Then I have to wait longer for them to make my food and they had me pull up to the third window so they can give it to me. I already have my large Coke a cola all I needed was my hotcakes. Super long wait times, employees on their phones, orders incorrect EVERY time. I hope McD's looks at their reviews and fixes this place. UPDATE: Made the mistake of going here again on 8-24-18. Spent 26 minutes in drive through, 9 minutes literally not moving. I asked lady at cashier window what has happened to this location. She stated the new mostly absentee owners don't care about customer service or a living wage. The employees they do have simply come and go as they please, talk and social media on their phones, have no work ethic, and there are no consequences for their actions. I saw trash behind counter overflowing, and work spaces not clean. My food was cold, the biscuit was hard, the girl at the second window had a very poor attitude when I asked for a fresh hash brown...then brought me a replacement, which was also cold. I know two people who work here, and both are now embarrassed to be associated with this store.
