I seriously don’t see how this location has the reviews it does.. me and my husband came here about five times and every single time that we order from the drive thru or the dining room we’ve had something missing from our order or the food isn’t fresh. Popeyes is expensive compared to most chicken places, so there’s no reason why their customer service should be so bad. I just went recently to this location, we got home and one of our combos were completely missing and our desserts too. We called up to speak with the manager who said that he wrote my husbands name down in a book and that we could come and get our food the next day, when we show up to do so there’s a different manager on duty who said that she couldn’t find his name in the book. Also we were never given a receipt, so she had to go to the back office and go print it off, which took a while. When she came back and had it printed off, she never gave me a copy of it nor did she apologize about the inconvenience. She just said, so what was missing? So, they remade my food.. checked everything and it was extremely cold, the shrimp on my P.O. boy Sandwhich was hard as a rock and I ended up throwing the food away because I wasn’t about to continue to deal with them and their attitudes. While I was there I couldn’t help but notice that I wasn’t the only upset customer there, there were two people in the lobby that ended up walking out before their order was taken and there was someone outside that was really mad and was trying to talk to one of the associates but they weren’t listening and they pulled off in rage. This place is awful, i used to work for a Popeyes franchise and needless to say things were never handled like they were at this particular location. Not sure if it’s franchise or corporate, but I’ll be calling in my compliant to the 1-800 phone number online because no one should be paying over $40 for food and all of it be cold! I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you go inside and watch them make all of your food and ask them to...
Read moreVisited this location 11/6/19 and it was the absolute worse experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. I arrived at the drive thru at 9:22 pm. There were approximately 5 cars ahead of me. when I finally got close to the speaker, the lady in front of me ordered wing dinners. They took her whole order just to inform her at the end that they did not have enough mild wings to complete her order. So she revised her order. She then went on to order her two sides and the only sides they had to offer was red beans and rice, she accepted this. Then for the drinks she requested Pepsi, they were out of Pepsi and Dr. Pepper. She then requested ice tea, they were out of ice tea as well. She finally settled for Sierra Mist. When I finally got to the speaker to order, there was only one car ahead of me. I patiently waited for someone to acknowledged me, it didn't happen. I noticed the lady in front of me had received her order and driven off. So I spoke in to the speaker, and someone said they would be with me in a minute. I continued to patiently wait. Finally at 9:58 somebody took my order. I ordered a chicken sandwich and was told "we don't have any chicken sandwiches." So I ordered one wing and was asked if i wanted spicy or mild. I ordered mild. I was told they would give me my total at the window. When I pulled to the window for my one piece of chicken, an employee finally opened the window and informed me they did not have any mild wings. I left at 10:02 without anything. The car behind me also drove off. I wasted 40 minutes in the drive thru and left empty handed. Because of the poor customer service and unpleasant attitudes there were at least 4 cars that drove off. I can understand being short handed, but a restaurant should not stop preparing and cooking food 45 minutes before closing. Especially when you have a promotional item (chicken sandwich) that brings high volumes. Even if the restaurant did not have any chicken sandwiches, they should have had other chicken options ready to offer as an...
Read moreHere's what I'm used to when I walk into this place: a customer at the register wrapping up their order, while someone else behind the counter flies around and fills orders. I put in my order, they run my card, then hand me a cup and my receipt. I walk to the liquid corn syrup dispenser, get some ice in my cup and hear my number called before I even have a chance to get any of that flavored sugar water. I feel the need to turn around and get my food out of his way just to avoid slowing HIM down.
Here's today: I walk in and there's a guy at the register waiting for attention. The manager is behind the counter trying to understand the order monitor. The other girl back there is off in space. She seems to keep forgetting she's employed here. I notice at least 5 other customers waiting for their food to show up. I get my order in and proceed to wait no less than 15 minutes for my number to be called. Even though 5 minutes ago the manager asked what my number was. 49 I say, while the stoned girl is calling out orders in the 30's. Turns out I was lucky. It took another 10 minutes before my coworker got his order. While we're waiting through this, the woman working the drive thru is flying through her orders. We were thinking we should have just walked through the drive thru. Food was hot and tasty though. The stars are for the cooks.
Update: so it must be the noon shift. We got here just after 11am today, and the dude assembling orders was listening as we ordered and putting it together right then. By the time the cashier handed my card back, my food was waiting for me.
We sat and chatted past noon, at which the troubled pair took charge, and soon there was a line of five customers waiting for their food to show up, while the manager on duty and his side kick tried to understand how the order...
