First the good: Love the 50's decor in this place. Very bright and playful. The back is the kids section with things to keep little ones entertained. It's laid out pretty well. Two-lane drive thru is pretty quick even during rush times. I can't remember a time they messed up my order. Management is usually very appreciative and helpful if you have a comment or complaint. Second, the Meh ...: It's a McDonald's, which means you already know what the food will taste like. I only go to McDonald's about four or five times a year now instead of the 4 or 5 times a week I used to when I weighed 300 lbs. Not kidding. The food is decent for a McDonald's. Finally, the bad: This place is always dirty. Not toxic-dirty like you'll never eat there again, but like the drink/ketchup area always is messy. Not the end of the world but is it THAT hard to keep the place every customer visits clean? For instance, this visit, I've watched the kid sweeping the floor walk past the same fries and napkin on the floor six times. Lol ... son, you're not worth $15 an hour. Lastly, it's a CRIME what they've done to the fries at this corporation. You wanna get people back into McDonald's? Make fries in the same delicious grease you used back in the 70's!!!!! Fries are NOT SUPPOSED to be healthy. Ok, done...
Read moreThough this Mcdonald's does not have a playplace it is still one of my favorite ones. It does however have an old video game console in the side dinning room which does not seem to work. The antique feel of the establishment set on by the paintings and other art work really sets it apart from other McDonald's By at least 50 years. The giant cup and straw in the middle of the eating area really captures your imagination, or at least it does for me and my family. The location is perfect for anyone coming or going from Mission and it is a favorite for a lot of people coming and going from work. It is nice and bright and cheery at any time you stop by, late at night, early morning or at high noon. I advise anybody who is in the area and has a bit of a hunger inside to stop by and take in the exclusive artwork and the nostalgic setting of McDonald's of yesteryear, and enjoy an ice cream cone or a hot coffee. The drive thru, works well with the two kiosks and two windows, so you'll get your food quickly. And don't forget to notice the other antique highlight here, the huge lit up double arches that are set in front of the building. Truly a wonderful addition to the already different but interesting...

When it came my time to pay I asked if my quarter pounder was ready? The young lady quickly told me yes. I gave her the 5.25$ and she closed her mirrored window (you could not see what they were doing or how they were preparing). Five minutes later a different woman came to the window. She told me I would have to pull up. I said the woman before you said it was ready. She said "I didn't tell you that". I replied your employee did. I said I can't pull up I need my money refunded. She told me SHE WAS CALLING THE POLICE ON ME (for not pulling up. She came back minutes later w a quarter pounder I said I rather not since she just threatened to call the police on me. I need a refund. She said I would still have to pull up. I said no. She said she was still calling the police on me. She slammed her one way glass window. Multiple minutes passed, she opened up the window w my money and said she had already called the police on me for "trespassing" that they have my tag...
