We ate here the morning before and really enjoyed the smoothies and the orange juice. After rafting and having the most amazing day, we decided that we were craving the watermelon blast smoothie and wanted to give this place a shot for lunch. When we arrived, we weren’t greeted at all and a server named Joe came over, Dropped water at the table spilling it all over everything including us -didn’t apologize and proceeded to tell us that we needed a minute when I responded with we were ready to order some drinks. Because that’s what you do at restaurants is place your drink order then your food -he barked at me and said NO YOU HAVE TO ORDER FOOD- and walked away we were so confused and a little caught off guard- when he came back over he was so rude and acted like we were Inconveniencing him, we began to place our orders- again starting with drinks - I asked for a Piña colada, where he looked me dead in my face and told me we don’t have that which is when I held up the menu and pointed to it- Then my girlfriend ordered a bloody Mary and he looked at us and rudely said we aren’t a bar… They have an entire cocktail menu which we then we again flipped over the menu and pointed at the big letters that said COCKTAIL MENU, he rolled his eyes and said WHATEVER in the nastiest tone - mind you this man is 50+ year old grown man acting like a toddler throwing a temper tantrum- as a server at a restaurant- which I finally said something along the lines of we aren’t welcome here we will leave he then tried to embarrass me and asked if I was from Utah- I said yes I live in Salt Lake, he then asked if I’d ever been a server before- again yes for 4 years in college- he stopped off and mumbled under his breath- and screamed I’ll get someone else- we stood up and started to leave and he proceeded to chase us out of the restaurant saying “sorry I wasn’t good enough for you” like a crazy ex boyfriend. It was a wild dramatic scene- I couldn’t make this up if I wanted to- I’ve never seen a grown man throw a temper tantrum before like that in public I can honestly say that’s a first. Dear Joe, I hope someone gives you a hug, because whatever you’re going through has to be extremely rough in order to outwardly behave like that...

Came for lunch after receiving a recommendation and noticing the nice patio with misters while walking down the main street. There was about a 10 minute wait for an outside table, but there were a few open tables on the inside. There were about 15 tables outside that were cooled by misters. After being seated, waiter immediately came to take the drink and appetizers order. Started off with a Gloria's margarita and some mimosas for drinks and the Red Pepper Hummus with Pita Bread as an appetizer. The drinks came out quickly and were made just right. I liked the addition of the Grand Marnier and the splash of orange juice to the margarita, gave it a nice twist to a classic margarita. The red pepper hummus was very good as it had a nice consistency and a lot flavor.

For the main meals, ordered the Cuban Sandwich, Apple-Walnut-Goat Cheese and Cranberry Salad, and Mediterranean Pasta. All the food came out within 15 minutes and the portions were generous. My favorite was the Apple, Walnut, Goat Cheese, and Cranberry Salad. Those toppings all gave different tastes, textures, and crunches that went well together and complemented the spinach. The Cuban sandwich had a good amount of pork and a nice addition of chorizo to add a different flavor. The Mediterranean pasta was also good with the nice mix of ingredients over the fettuccini.

During the meal, a live musician, Jon O Radio, setup to add music over the meals. His music was nice as he looped in bass and percussion sounds while playing the guitar and singing live. It was a wide range of music that was enjoyable over lunch. Since was just enjoying the music, ordered a Tango Mango smoothie. The smoothie was made with fresh fruits and had nice chunks of coconut in it.

Gloria's was definitely a nice place to have lunch on the patio, be cooled by the misters, enjoy good food, and relax while listening to live music. Will definitely come back when...

Dining at Gloria’s: A Stellar Experience with Chelsea From the moment we stepped into Gloria’s, the ambiance promised a delightful evening, but it was Chelsea’s service that truly made our dining experience unforgettable. Comes up as one of the best brunch spots in town on multiple. The atmosphere was great, with live music. Then the menus... no breakfast. No brunch. Nope they stop serving that at 11:30am, we were 30 minutes late. What is this McDonald's? Huge bummer. We ordered lunch, here's the break down: Shrimp tacos: shrimp were cold flavorless tiny shrimp, the tortillas were cold and split apart. The mango salsa was 2/5, guac 4/5 but it was old. Oh and lettuce was old and wilted. Chicken nachos: 3/5 bland, bits of cheese were hard from the microwave? (we ordered no onions due to allergies and they came with onions. They redid them but used onion powder on the seasoning. They were great for at least trying though and re-did them). Chicken tenders and fries: 2/5 the fries were good, the "tenders" were pretty bad. They were not actual chicken tenders, it was the processed goo they use in cheap chicken nuggets. Disappointing for a "health conscious" place. Smoothies: for $12 they were ok 3/5, nothing to write home about. 1 star for the nice ambiance and the waitress was nice. Food-wise it was a big let down, most of the food ordered was not eaten, do not recommend.

Please 🙏 click like and follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS and EATWELLTRAVELOFTEN Fairly new restaurant in Moab so we tried something different. Diane: Coconut French Toast with a side of scrambled eggs added. The French toast was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful flavor. The coconut did not overpower it either. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly as well. Would have liked them cooked with fresh ground pepper to enhance the flavor of the eggs, as the pepper on the table did not have much flavor to it. Steve: I had the green eggs and ham with roasted potatoes and sourdough toast. Once again the eggs were perfectly cooked. Added to them was fresh spinach (some whole leaf some chopped) and pesto. The basil and spinach made a very good combination and was a great escape from just scrambled eggs. Normally I would switch ham for bacon but on a hunch I didn't. Good choice. I almost never eat ham but this was really tender and juicy with great flavor. The roasted potatoes were seasoned well but some were overcooked. Overall, they were good. The service from Melissa was friendly and efficient. Overall, recommended two thumbs-up 👍👍
