Last night, I unexpectedly boarded a cruise ship in the middle of Moab—the legendary Worlds Famous Woody’s Tavern. I came in solo, but from the moment I walked through the doors, it felt like I was stepping into a lively ship full of good vibes and great people.
At the entrance stood two captains—friendly faces making sure everything ran smoothly, giving warm welcomes like true pros of the sea. Inside, the real magic unfolded.
Behind the bar were the most stunning blonde bartenders, with smiles that could steer ships and charm that could calm any storm. They handled the crowd like seasoned sailors—mixing drinks with style, grace, and a sparkle in their eyes. Watching them work was like watching an elegant dance on deck—confident, smooth, and mesmerizing.
The live musicians were nothing short of sensational—no jukebox needed here. They filled the air with music so good, it pulled everyone to the dance floor like waves pulling the tide. I tipped them $40 without a second thought; they deserved every penny.
There was a pool table on deck, where travelers played and laughed like lifelong friends. Most guests had walked from nearby hotels, which made the atmosphere easygoing and stress-free. And for those who drove, parking was a breeze.
Although I didn’t try the food, the energy of this place was more than enough to satisfy. Woody’s Tavern is more than a bar—it’s a desert cruise full of soul, rhythm, and heart. It’s the kind of place that turns an ordinary night into an unforgettable adventure.
Highly recommend this voyage to any traveler passing through Moab. Raise your glass, set your course, and enjoy the ride aboard...
Read moreI was asked to leave after repeatedly asking to close my friend's tab and get his credit card back. We were ignored for over 20 minutes on a not very busy night. I cannot believe how rude the staff was about my simple request. I didn't even drink (DD) and was treated like a drunk and asked to 'leave my f---ing bar and to get the f--- out of here' by an employee named Jordan. I explained to her the situation and she got right in my face insulting me, swearing at me and telling me I was a liar about our view of the situation. I was stunned. Then the woman taking the cover charge at the front door pointed her finger at me and yelled 'get out of here! You were causing problems last night too!!' Um, lady I wasn't here last night. I own businesses and deal with unsavory people on occasion. I was polite and maybe a bit forceful abut the situation because it seemed to be the only way to get anyone's attention. But I wasn't drunk and I wasn't aggressive or rude but yet I was treated like a wild, rabid dog. It was unbelievable. I can look past the crappy music and dirty tables but not the unbelievable rudeness from Jordan and the woman at the front door. I hope she was just having a bad day and isn't treating other patrons like this because if any of my employees treated a customer like that (my friends spent a lot of money btw) I wouldn't put up with it for one second....
Read morethe one stars aren't a lie!! trust them it might save your life. last time i was here i was denied service for food because the bartender didn't like us and gave us attitude upon walking in then claimed it was because of my id (it scanned and the bartender lied and said it didn't) , i called the cops so they could check my card & the bartender was so upset about being wrong and being caught for profiling that she THREW A BOTTLE AT ME AND MY BOYFRIEND. right after the security and the bartender told me that no one likes me which is a common occurance for anyone not white because the bar tender is VERY expressive about not liking black people. they proceeded to label and slander me as "crazy id lady" for speaking up and defending myself against their prejudice. them refusing to realize where they were wrong and painting others as the aggressor is very common. after all they assume black and hispanic people are aggressive off the bat which is show by the blatant racism. The manager (glasses and short black hair) actually said on May 6th , 2023 "i f** hate black people"
