When I and my two daughters arrived at Hooters, the hostess, a young black girl with long hair, I think her name was Anessia, informed us it would be at least a 10 to 15 minute wait. At least half the tables were empty. After telling me this she simply walked away. After about 15 minutes had gone by, a group of young black men/boys and women/girls (all between the ages of 20 to 30) came in. This same hostess came up to them and immediately seated them. I was still waiting. I was irritated that she went around me and sat them. But then a black man came in. Again she ignored me and my daughters and sat him. At this same time, a black man and woman came in the door. She again went around me and my daughters and sat the black couple. It was obvious that she was prejudice against me and my daughters because we are white. We were finally seated after waiting about 45 minutes. One of the waitresses even noticed this. After my daughters and I were finally seated, this hostess gave me a dirty look when I walked by her going to the restroom. The waitress, Kim B., also noticed this and asked if I would like to speak to the manager. I told her I was too mad at the time and I needed to cool down before telling the manager. Despite this obvious prejudice, the waitress was the only reason we had a decent visit. Upon leaving. I thanked the waitress but told her I would not be back as long as this rude and prejudice hostess still worked there. The manager will be informed of...
Read moreI called Hooters as I walkes to my car from the house, the phone wa promptly answered by a young woman, whose name I got but will not use, she proceeded to place me on hold and I stayed on hold for the 13.5 minutes it took me to drive to the restraunt. I went into the less than half full restraunt, sat at the bar ordered my takeout and asked a waitress which of the young ladies had the name of the the person who had answered the phone so that I could see if she ever remembered to answer it. At the 15:22 mark she had the 'oh crap' moment she remembered and promptly hung up.. This according to the reviews of this place is their main problem with this establishment. The young lady behind the bar btw, did a wonderful job of getting my order and getting it out. I consider this kind if problem when it happens as often as complained about on here to one of leadership management. If they cant get it right, they should be replaced but tonight was my last trip to this location.....if they care so little why should we patronize them. I know it wont happen because I dont believe they care enough but when this is the kind of service you give at the very least the decent thing to do is...
Read moreThe wings and shrimp were a hit like usual. Hooters has the best wings, hands down, but the price on their wings, which inflated during Covid when they did doors pickups, I get, but why they are still inflated, I don't understand almost 2 dollars a wing. Smh. I can go to a grocery store and purchase a family pack of large chicken breasts raw for $12.00 to $13.00, depending on the store. This pack consists of 20 full wings. So when cutting them into sections and they still call them wi as when they are not. Now you have 40 wing sections and only spent 12 to 13 dollars. Go to hooter and get a 20 piece for about $30.00 +. I understand they are cooked and rolled in sauce. Then you get 1 small ranch dipping sauce no matter to if u get a 10 PC or 20 PC. Lol.. I still buy them occasionally because they are good, and I buy extra ranch, but it's no 5 star meal. We had a good dine experience because we had a good server, but the booth seats are busted and torn. Makes you wonder where the money is going from the inflated wings. We used to frequent here once are twice a week. Now we might go twice a year and normally...
