Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Mobile

We went Friday night at 8:17 pm on April 19th, 2019 ( that’s important so the manager on duty can get more training). We were greeted with “is this here or to go” not with hi, welcome etc. Our order was wrong even after I restated our order when it was read back incorrectly. The manager brought our food out and slammed the trays down and said “enjoy “ as she was walking away with her back to us. We called after her asking about the fries and if biscuits were supposed to come with the chicken dinners. She didn’t say anything but kept walking. She returned with my husbands biscuit in a bag and blurted out that I wasn’t charged for the fries and if I wanted them I would have to pay for them ( I didn’t have a problem paying for them, it was her attitude that I had a problem with). At the end of the meal, I got up to use the restroom, the door was locked so I waited. After a few minutes, I knocked on the door with no response from inside. I went to the counter to inform them there was a problem with the door or someone inside with a problem. I was informed that the manager on duty makes them lock the bathroom doors in the evening. Visited this location in Mobile Alabama last week while doing business. The store itself is not open for indoor dinning. It offers curbside service, app. Pre-order and pickup, drive through service. The store was very swift in getting my order out. The order was correct, food hot, and no contact with even payment or food distribution. Plastic containers was used to transfer the money and order. Granted the line was extremely long, so my wait was to be expected for the amount of traffic, it did not impede my ordering process much and food was really hot. My only complaint would have been the rushing during my ordering process by the clerk, and the very unclear speech she used while communicating my order. The mic was cut off before she was done speaking or in mid speech. I had a very hard time understanding her. I could feel her aggravation with me also, due to the communication barrier. Otherwise, well pleased with service at this location. Would reccomend either repairs on mic., or re-teaching usage of the mic if possible. This hindered my experience at this particular...

Popeye's is a great franchise, and this location has been my go to spot since I was a child. But this location in particular enjoys messing up your order over and over and over and over and over again. I ask for a Classic Chicken sandwich, they give me a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I have even told them "Do not get me a Spicy Chicken Sandwich, get me a classic one." They must just exclusively make Spicy Chicken Sandwich because that's all they will give me. I have experienced them make this same mistake over 10 times. I do enjoy some spicy food, but only on my terms. This location has a pretty gross small bathroom consistently, sometimes it has soap. The food is good when they get it right, nothing gross about the food, I am just infuriated that I have to pull out into the busy street and turn back into the parking lot to wait for food that comes up wrong anyway even when I specify it.

I don't write this happily, I really like a lot about this location, but enough is enough! Get my order right!
