Noble South is a delicious cozy, classy, restaurant. Even better, by eating there you do good in the world! Noble South is a great farm-to-table restaurant that uses only the freshest ingredients from local farmers.
This is the kind of restaurant I feel great about supporting. With dishes sourced from local farmers, and efforts underway to reduce plastic consumption your meal is not only delicious, but guilt free!
Atmosphere 4.5* - The atmosphere at Noble South is rustic but still elevated. With a bit of old south charm, including (very) high ceilings, large windows, and a large roomy dining area, the ambiance is set for a delicious meal!
Entrees 4.5* - Entrees are always delicious. They have a wonderful southern flair without overdoing it to the point of being cheesy. Dishes have a hint of yummy fats (chicken thighs, buttery carbs, etc) but aren't greasy. They have a great take on southern that is all classy and 0 redneck. Delicious!
Drinks 4* - I've had many a wonderful cocktail at Noble South. While delicious mixology isn't their best characteristic, their cocktails are good and worth the price charged.
Service 4* - I've had mixed service. I definitely get the feeling that your service is better if you "look the part". The waitstaff is just a bit gruff and could be more welcoming and kind but still does a good job generally.
Environmental 5* - As I've already mentioned throughout this review, Noble South is one of my favorite places to go because I know I'm not eating foods that support massive polluting, inhumane, factory farms. This makes my meal that much better and I'm always ready to eat here! Thank you to Chris and the ownership and management of Noble South for your environmental ethic! Keep working to get rid of plastics (no one...
Read moreSet up a reservation this past Friday for an early evening dinner with 4 friends. Arrived to an empty restaurant with 99% seating options available. To my understanding, this was the only restaurant space for The Noble South, which was the experience we wanted that evening. Our group was placed in the sidecar room next door, which made absolutely no sense to me. I spoke with the hostess, and requested that out party be accommodated in the main restaurant. 0 attempt by the hostess to accommodate, when the restaurant was wide open. Displeased with the the situation right off the beginning, our party almost left, but we decided to stick it out. Our waiter was a bit awkward, and not very helpful, so we just went ahead and ordered to expedite this experience. The food was decent, but way overpriced for eating in a glorified closet room of the restaurant. When our dinner was wrapped, to our surprise half the restaurant was still open seating wise to have accommodated our party. Absolutely ridiculous that you even have the sidecar option available, and seat your guests there first when your restaurant is completely open for seating. Will never recommend, and or return to The...
Read moreA true farm-to-table experience! Everything was fresh and tasted delicious!! Our waiter was awesome, and provided superior service! ⭐️ I forget his name, but this guy could’ve sold me a rock off the street lol! He knew the menu very well, so much that I could taste the savory dish beforehand just off his description. It’s really an art that all waiters should master. Kudos to him!!
My SO ordered the brisket meal w/ cauliflower, and sweet potatoes (the waiter can describe it much better lol). He was a big fan of the brisket & cauliflower. Says the brisket was tender/moist, yet was perfectly crispy on the outside.
I ordered the deviled eggs with roe (no bacon)- and my goodness they were heavenly! I also ordered the vegetable plate (chef’s seasonal choice): perfectly seared sweet potatoes topped w/ Parmesan cheese and chives- omg! This was everything!! Sautéed bok choy w/ tofu- my goodness! So much flavor! And get this, a cucumber salad w/ mint and Homeade salad dressing. I was a happy human!! Lol! We also ordered drinks- which were nicely infused…subtle. Then, there was the semifreddo banana pudding. I was a first-timer. It was different, yet flavorful...
