Plan to pull up in front of the hotel for parking which is complimentary if you’re dining at this restaurant. The service at this restaurant was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and ensured our experience was enjoyable. She followed the “two-minute, two-bite” rule, refilled drinks promptly, and pre-bussed the table as needed. She also inquired about appetizers and offered dessert, adding a personal touch to the meal. As for the food, the short ribs were definitely a standout—tender and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The chicken Parmesan was also good; though I’m not a fan of thick noodles, the dish itself was flavorful, and the portion size was generous. The arancini appetizer was a great choice as well, pairing perfectly with the freshly baked bread. For dessert, the cheesecake was house-made and had a great balance of traditional flavors with a hint of strawberry. A word of advice: if you’re taking it to go, be sure to ask for the whipped cream on the side, as it tends to melt and turn the cake into a gooey mess. All together- huge portions, nice atmosphere and reasonably priced.

Watch out for different prices based on the menu you are given. We had a drink in the bar 30 mins before our reservation and picked out the wines we wanted. When we were seated in the restaurant we both had different menus and the prices were different. Our server admitted there were discrepancies and she would only charge us the lesser amount. When the final check came we were charged $80 for a bottle of wine that was listed at $62. $30 for 3 tiny scallops! Be very careful that you only pay for what you ordered. We will not be returning. It may not seem like much - but imagine they are over charging $100 per ticket because people don’t check their bill. Shame on you. It wasn’t the server’s fault so I gave a cash tip - but the management/owners need to get their act together and behave like a 4 or 5 star restaurant/hotel. P.S. Stop serving $19 a bottle supermarket wines for $15 a glass. P.PS. There really is too much thing as too much garlic in your amuse bouche. PPPS. Crostini is crusty bread. Your $10 appetizer with flabby bread and tasteless accompaniments was sub-par

We made our reservation using OpenTable, which is nice, as we get reminders for reservations and such. Our reservation was for 615 on a Saturday evening. We had enjoyed Saturday evening vigil mass, and then went to dinner. Google took us right to the front door of the hotel and they have valet parking available. Pleasant surprise, the trellis room validates, valet parking! We were a few minutes early, and the hostess was happy to go ahead and seat us. Our server, Rachel, did a great job explaining the drink menu and offer suggestions for entrées. Debra had the scallops and I had the Bronzino. Both dishes were lovely! We enjoyed a couple of cocktails that were beautifully made and were very tasty. The architecture and ambience of the restaurant is lovely as well as the boutique hotel that it is in . We had a wonderful time, and definitely will put this on our list of fine dining in Mobile, that we quite enjoy! Bonus, they had a beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby for patrons to take pictures!

I have been to the Trellis room for several times but this recent time was a disaster! I called in about a week ago to make reservation for 19 people. However, I have to leave a message regarding to the reservation. The next day I received a phone call about the reservation. I talked to the guy and told him I have about 19 people and need to set up on next Saturday night for a company Christmas dinner. He said sure! No problem! I was glad to hear him say that. I was trying to make sure by asking him what's the latest time we all can arrive and don't want them to rush us. He said 8:30pm and the restuarant closed whenever we leave. So, it was a plus! And I was glad that he was willing to make it work for us. However, on the day of the lady up front said that she didn't see our reservation in the system and asked which guy I talked to. I don't remember who the guy was, that was the restuarant responsibility. The manager at the restaurant couldn't help us since it was their mistake and they have a gut to say the guy called to denied our reservation. Why would we go there if he called me to canceled? This is a company's Christmas party. Why would we still come? So, I have to call other restuarants at the very last minute to see if they can accommodate for all 19 of us. Thanks goodness one of the restuarant can! It was a horrible experience with the Trellis room. I would never give them any of my business and I don't recommend anybody to make...

Me and my boyfriend came to celebrate our anniversary and we were overall disappointed with the service we received. We had an 8 pm reservation and arrived early expecting to wait in the lobby till our reservation. They sat us right away which was very kind, after being seated we were not greeted for 23 minutes and we had to flag someone down to get our server. While we waited for waters we watched a birthday party being set up, get waters, and orders in before we even were able to get a server to look our way. We contemplated leaving multiple times but kept waiting because we had heard the food was good. I would normally have understanding for this if the restaurant was busy but there was only three other groups in the restaurant. When we were finally greeted and brought water we just went ahead and ordered everything since we had plenty of time to figure out the menu and knew they probably wouldn’t be back to our table until the dishes were ready. The food was okay but not at all worth the price point. While our server was very nice we once again had to flag him down to get the check to leave. The restaurant itself was small and cute but had no music playing leaving the room feeling awkward with the sounds of the bar karaoke being the only thing you could hear in the distance. We won’t be returning here but if you do go the only dish I really enjoyed was the...

Could not get a seat. As guest of the hotel and seeing there were literally only 7 tables seated with 75% still open we never dreamed we wouldn’t be seated. Plus the hotel staff had told us earlier that we would easily be able to walk in for dinner. We’d been traveling all day and looking forward to a nice dinner and drinks. I had to walk into the dining area before a hostess came over. She asked about a reservation and I said we did not have one. She said they were only taking reservations, which is dumb when it’s that empty at 6:55pm on a Saturday. We stepped away and I made a reservation for 7:15pm through OpenTable. At 7:10 I go back to the hostess but this time I’m told they are not taking anymore seating regardless of a reservation that several larger parties are coming later and they couldn’t control me making a reservation on OpenTable. After our dinner elsewhere we came back through to go to our room and at 8:30 they still had seating available. We will eat breakfast at another restaurant as I’m certainly not willing to support them after last night.

I’d love for a manager to reach out to me directly on this. The hostess could have been a lot more friendly and better explained the situation (but I still don’t believe they didn’t have room for us). The way it was handled though...
