9/16/2024 Update. I ordered Teaspoon catering for my wedding on 9/14/24. The process is amazingly smooth as I could order through the app and also collect reward points as well. I was able to connect with the owner Quynh, to set up a time drop off and free delivery of my personalized Boba Bar using my own drink dispensers and decor. I ordered green tea and milk tea lactose free, mango jelly, and boba toppings. I provided my guests with mango, strawberry, and passionfruit syrup for guests to mix with their drinks. They delivered it on time and set up was a breeze. It was a huge hit with all my guests and kids! Half of the drinks were gone during the cocktail hour (considering we didn't have an open bar). Luckily, Teaspoon provided us with extra toppings and tea traveler boxes to refill our boba bar station. By the end of the night, everything was 90% gone. Everyone loved the boba bar and complimented how they enjoyed a lactose free milk tea and loved the star shaped mango jelly.

4/2024 I’m so glad Teaspoon opened a store in Modesto because there’s not many good boba tea stores around. You have to drive 15 minutes away for decent boba tea. I’m originally from the bay area so Teaspoon is everywhere. Now it’s only a 5 minute drive away for me to get great boba. The drinks are amazing, great tasting, and very customizable. My favorite drinks are the black sugar assam, strawberry sangria, and the custom lemonades. The toppings are shaped differently than other boba stores and are cute stars shapes. The boba is always warm and chewy.

The owners Quynh and Tran are the nicest people ever! They are beyond amazing and remember your name and face! The employees are extremely friendly, fast service, enthusiastic, and a well chosen team. Congrats on your grand opening and best wishes for...

I had realized I had not written a review for this specific Teaspoon — but I’ve been coming to this location from the Bay EVERYTIME I’m in the Central Valley! This is the one AND only Teaspoon within Stanislaus County (yes, they’re opening one in Tracy soon…. But until then).

Service: 5/5 (probably even more at this point)… I’ve been coming to this specific location for regular boba runs, cup-sleeve events… and I’ve gotta say, they treat their customers right. The owner, Quinn, is very friendly and helpful, and she REALLY does make the job feel like it’s a chill time not only for herself but also for the customers. She is the “definition” of making it RIGHT for her patronsas.

Their boba is top-notch… sourced from the finest and their tea-leaves are ACTUALLY real! Did you know that for cup sleeve events, they make special drinks on top of the actual drinks that they sell? That’s like a WIN WIN right there! Awesome marketing and they’re very active on their Instagram :)

Environment: 4/5

Modesto is known for a lot of speeding cars… but that does not give Modesto residents an excuse to speed in the plaza. They do have an In N Out nearby which results in making it harder for other customers who want to get boba… a little harder than usual.

Overall, a 10/10 everytime I come visit! Y’all should go visit if you’re ever...

This is my second visit of this store. Sadly disappointed by service.

Store was near last hour of closing when I ordered online. I did not get a call that they were out of honey boba.

When I got there, they told me the wait time for honey boba would be 30 minutes.

I sat waiting for 30 minutes. Came back in, they told me they were not going to make any more.

Disappointed not that they ran out, but the communication was awful, AND they misinformed me, wasting 30 minutes of my time when they should have told me that they would not be able to make it from the start. There was no compensation or even acknowledgement from them for doing this.

Also, they gave me a wrong drink after waiting that long. I ordered a Thai tea and was given a bitter coffee...
