If you want to just give your money and get out of there, this is good pizza place. Their pizza was good. The wings were dry as jerky. But if you want to have a family experience when you go there, it's not. All our family went there at 6.30 pm and wanted to dine in. The guy (with glasses) did not say anything except he looked at us. We were bewildered if we were even welcome. We sat in anyway as there were chairs. The environment was very smoky as if they did not have any exhaust fans. The kids and us just sat there expecting someone to ask one question. But NOT. So I finally got up and said. "Hi! Can we get a pizza. Are you ready to close?" Then the guy with glasses started with.... "Oh we close at 7 pm" that's all he said. My kids were irky by then and I decided and told him we will do a take out. If they don't want anyone to dine in, why do they have restaurant style seats. I don't know what other customers got as the best family restaurant experience? We want to get some too..... So my concerns are if you don't want customers to dine in, remove the chairs and tables and make it a Pizza Hut take out. And if you want it to be a dine in, get a person to say at least " Hi guys, how are you doing" and he/she can take all telephonic orders and welcome people. I know it's the technological era and people don't really care except money. But I do. In a place like Mooresville, there is still respect and welcome present. And surely get some exhaust fans for your employees. They breathe the smoke all day and I don't think they like it too. These are very basic things, and I think they can be changed immediately. Good luck and we will see you guys may be in a month. And if not, try to learn what...
Read moreStopped in this weekend, after seeing the word “Tonawanda” on the side of the building (my hometown- known for great pizza and wings!!). Buffalo is a city where it’s hard to find great Pizza AND great wings at a single location, so it was incredible to find Davino’s, which offers an excellent offer of both (usually Bocci or Nova for the pie and Plaza or Duffs for wings). The pizza here though, was simply outstanding!!!!! Just can’t say enough! Everything you would expect in a western NY pie! But the wings were shockingly good! Best I’ve had outside of Buffalo, without question. What topped it off for me though is just how friendly the owners are. They’re family run and make you feel like you’re a part of it. They treated me to a sampling of fresh made garlic knots and once again, I was highly impressed! If you’re looking for authentic Buffalo food, this is DEFINITELY the place! Amazing food, awesome owners and everything you would expect from a good Buffalo classic eatery! ...
Read moreWe are visiting the area and didn't want to cook so we ordered delivery from Davino's. If we were here more often, it would definitely be our go to spot. I think we ordered a little bit of everything. The ordering is REALLY hard because they don't really have a menu online. Until they take orders the online ordering doesn't show what's available and then there are no descriptions of what's on them. Any idea what comes on a "white pizza"? "Meet pizza"? You get my point. So, we just ordered. The meat pizza had pepperoni, sausage, ham, maybe hamburger. White pizza - you'll have to post that one, we passed. We also had a Hawaiian (pineapple & ham). The pepperoni only came in small which was also wonky, no larger sizes? Regardless, all the pizzas were made and tasted superb. Had a house salad that was fresh. Also had a sausage & onion Calazone which tasted as great as the pizza. Definitely a spot I...
