I absolutely love this place. I usually get Dunkin where I live in another state, but the quality is extremely variable. So, when I came to NC to visit family last week, we went to Mercy's to try it and I'm SO glad we did. Their donuts are infinitely better than the bigger chains. And I'm not a big fan of glaze, and all their frosted varieties have glaze on them too, so I ended up calling them the next weekend to order donuts for the next morning without the glaze, and like that, they were even better. We got maple frosted, strawberry frosted, and the fruity pebbles one. I wish we'd gotten more than one of the fruity pebbles flavor, because it was much tastier than expected and the whole family was fighting for the last bite of it 😂 And they were very nice and helpful, had my order ready for me exactly on time. I'd guess at certain times on certain days, they probably temporarily run out of most of their donuts, so if you want a box of certain flavors or want to get something a particular way (and I do recommend getting the frosted ones without the additional glaze, just better that way), just call them the day before. I will definitely be back here next time we're in...
Read moreWe live a couple miles away, and have been trying to support this place for over a year now. I have to say that the donuts are actually quite good..... when they actually have them available. The powdered sugar donuts are, in my opinion, their best donuts. Unfortunately, 8 times out of 10 they do not have them available. When they do, there are only 1 or 2 available for purchase. I simply do not understand how you would not make one of your best items available during peak business hours in the morning. This can't be rocket science. Overall, I think donuts are delicious, and better than most competitors. Management of the donuts, however, has been disappointing repeatedly over the course of a year. I hesitate to make the drive to this place anymore as I pass Dunkin Donuts on my way to them, and Dunkin at least has everything available most of the time. This makes my kids happy when the get to pick the donuts, and they can get the donuts they want. SO unfortunate to see a great product be mismanaged like this! If they had powdered sugar available, I would buy a dozen at a time of those alone! I hope they use this as constructive criticism and make...
Read moreYummy! WAAAAAAAY better than any other donut shop in Mooresville. But on days they are open they close fairly early (noon), and they are closed on Sundays and Mondays, which is often frustrating since usually birthdays, Father's Day, Mother's Day, and holidays are on Sunday or Monday. Also, their prices used to be pretty good, but since COVID they have nearly doubled. The photo of the menu that shows 1/2 dozen for under $5 and a full dozen for $8 was taken back in 2019 and is way off. Now (2025) a 1/2 dozen is closer to $8, and a full dozen is over $13. These were an occasional/luxury buy before, but my pay has not gone up nearly as fast as their prices, so now they are a never-buy. It's a shame, because I...
