I am not impressed with the way purcells restaurants turned into. I've lived here for 20 years and have never had this much issues from these stores. Beaufort and morehead city is nothing but problems with the service they don't care to help the lobby customers no more especially since the customers can order their own food in the lobby. They just expect the customers to use them instead of interacting with their customers. But they need to understand and think about the customers. Especially without them spending their hard earned money there the employee wouldn't have a job. You should always take care of your customers no matter what. They are the reason why you get paid because they spend their money there. So at that point you should treat them better then making them wait every time or just walk pass them or even ignore them so yall can play around and talk. I'm not sure what happened to purcells stores but they have gone down hill. The training store is morehead city and I was walked by 5 times and waited just so I could get mayo. There just is no need in that. Also one of their other store havelock not only do they play around and ignore there customers but you get fury burgers. 2 out of 4 times I've been there I had found hair in my food. Whatever happened to purcells stores is ridiculous. Someone just needs to find out what the issue is because that is not how it was ran when I worked there for 6 year. Just crazy to treat...
Read moreI used to order the sausage McMuffin exclusively, but that was only because they had betrayed me and nixed the steak egg and cheese bagel, it is back though so now I get it on a biscuit instead of a bagel. Now that we are rebuilding the trust after that betrayal I use the mobile app. Super freaking awesome app by the way. It even stalks you and has your previous orders ready to just reorder with a touch of your phone screen. Oh, and believe me when I say that while you would think there is no shame in having that much info on your eating habits trust me there is. No one but you and the McDonald's employee ever need to know though. So it's all good. Another caveat is the bonuses and discounts you can accrue and amass using the app. I literally earned enough to not have to pay for anything all summer just from the points I had saved up. And while yes I am on the heaftier side it is not there fault but rather my own heart failure that does it for me. My family and friends just also love the food and I love free things and I have the app, they cant handle the App! So, I would recommend just going and getting something. I recommend the steak egg and cheese biscuit with extra sauteed onions, oh yeah you read that right, SAUTEED FREAKING ONIONS!! SO DELICIOUS...
Read moreThis was the WORSE service I have ever received. I worked at this store many years ago with the now owner. I placed my order and requested two syrups. The person that took the order did not charge for the extra syrup. When I get to the window to receive my order, I asked if my two syrups were in the bag and that I needed three ketchups. The manager comes to the window and says she could not get me the syrup and asked me to pull up. I asked why do I need to pull up if I have my food. She states for the syrup and holds up a bag and says I have the cars food behind you. I told her to have a great day. I pulled over to the belks parking lot to eat and I do not even have my ketchup. This lady needs to be trained on customer service or not be in management. She has no idea how to talk to customers! I called the store and asked if she was the one I was just talking to and she said yes. I asked her to have the regional manager call me. She said I can not give out that information. I was not asking for information, i wanted a phone call. She proceeds to tell me all the information I need is at the top of the receipt. This is not good customer service at ALL!
