I'd recommend Two Brothers pizzeria or Pizza Al's. Unfortunately this Pizzeria is on the decline. When I moved to Motown many many moons ago originally from NYC. I was pleased to find the closest thing to a New York slice at the time. But since Lotsa Pizzeria closed this establishment has become complacent in the absence of competition. Whether it's the rude workers answering the phone if they speak English at all ( thinking everyone in this town is a college kid). Or the lack of quality and care when making any other dish besides a pizza pie. Example: my last order- two calzones one order of wings, chicken parm hero and thank God I added a pizza pie it's the only thing that saved the order. My chicken parm was tough and rubbery. I've worked in a pizzeria as a kid for most of my teenage years chicken parm is a recipe that takes time in the absence of time you're supposed to use a meat beater the dishes also supposed to be breaded traditionally. My order was none of those things unfortunately. I didn't even finish half of it. What is garlic parmesan wings ask me if there was any parmesan on those wings on top of the Wings being so overcooked you can even taste any flavoring on them. They're usually undercooked anyways I tried to warn my family lol smh. Two calzones what ordered as well one meat lovers 1 Hawaiian. The meat lovers had pineapple on it and the Hawaiian didn'tđ¤Ł. On top of when we went to pick it up the little lady was so rude and couldn't even work the POS system to find our order. Her counter part saved the day and eventually found it . ( language barrier). I wish these guys the best going forward I sincerely feel the lack of the old manager with the glasses and the blue Corvette as well as the tall slender quiet and humble owner has really affected this business in a bad way. I sincerely hope they do not go down the same path as Lotsa did. Because every year so far the quality gets less. This is still a small town it just doesn't feel like that when the...
Read moreThey charge a delivery fee on a per order basis.
Me and my co-workers order delivery from Casa on a weekly basis and they always charge each of us a $2.00 delivery fee.
I'm fine with paying a delivery fee, but what they do is charge a delivery fee against each order that is going to the same location. At my place of work we sometimes pay together on one order, but more often we pay separately and each have our own bill, and when we pay separately we each get charged a separate and an additional $2.00 delivery fee.
So, if me and 5 of my co-workers each pay separately, Casa ends up making an additional $2.00 per head. They're making $10 - $12 off of one delivery where they should only get $2.00 for one delivery charge.
The reason this is wrong is because they tell me they will correct this by either putting the single $2.00 charge on one bill, and one bill only, or by spreading the $2.00 charge evenly across each bill. This is what I've been told while I'm on the phone with them placing the order, but when it comes time to sign the bill when the delivery arrives, we each still have a $2.00 charge on each of our bills.
I've even been asked by one of the guys that has been working there for years (I know this because I'm from Morgantown and have patronized them over the years) why we don't order from them much any more, and it's because of this blatant disregard of their customers concerns, and complete acknowledgement that they are ripping off customers of delivery orders.
I called them back after the last time this happened (10/21/2016, lunch time) and I was told by the lady that was answering the phone that day that they would call us back and correct the bill. Big surprise - They did neither of those things.
Final Note: The food is usually pretty good. I would consider it a step above most of the privately owned fast food eateries in town. However, if I could rate customer service, it would be a...
Read moreOk so I order salads from this place sometimes and they usually do a pretty good job. Today not so much. I made my usual order which never includes mushrooms because I am allergic but it arrived with mushrooms and fries on the salad and was missing olives. Also the chicken was beyond... BEYOND... spicy and trust me I can take some heat. I called them up to make a complaint because if they donât pay attention people can get hurt. Aside from the mushrooms (again allergic to mushrooms) which can be picked out, the spice of the chicken was all over the salad already and made it inedible. The manager I spoke to didnât sound like they cared much if at all. They immediately started blaming a new kitchen employee who started a few days ago and didnât even apologize. They literally just asked âok so what do you want me to do? Do you want a credit for your next order?â At that point I didnât know they were the manager so I asked if I could speak to their manager and their response was âI am the manager so what do you want? A credit for your next order or do you want me to redo it and send it out again?â So I agreed to it being redone. It was done correctly and the chicken was good too until I cut my mouth on a bone. (I took a pic of the bone) Needless to say, I wasnât exactly happy with that. Only, the manager hadnât been so caring before when I had told them about the mushrooms (again allergic) they had sent so I didnât feel like calling again would really matter too much. So maybe reading it on here would help. Iâm glad I only cut my mouth on the bone and didnât choke on it or have it cut my esophagus. Oh and FOOD ALLERGIES CAN KILL PEOPLE! Try caring or at least fake caring when your customers call with a...
