First off, the staff: I have no idea why people come to a fast food stall in a grocery market and expect the exployees to be dressed to the tens in a below freezing supermarket for 10-12 hours a day. The employees are all young adults who are very sweet but soft spoken. They are always helpful when I have a hard time deciding what I need to order or if there was a mix up. You just have to treat them like people. I have had the misfortune of being a witness to unruly customers giving these young people a hard time for a job that definitely requires a larger team but only having the same 2-3 faces on staff 7 days a week. Then these diabolical customers come on here and post photos of these young people (which is unsettling and strange) who are just doing their best. Second, the food: This is a Korean corn dog stand located in the heart of Morrow, which does not have a Korean demographic in the slightest. Understand the cultural environment before you begin your food reviews. The corn dogs are satisfying. It scratches that itch when I don't want to drive 45-50 minutes to the Ohkay dog in Chambee. I prefer the classic mozzarella dog with sugar and it's delicious each time. The potato dog only if I have not eaten all day. All in all, I never had a bad experience and I come on the randomest...
Read moreWe were initially impressed with their score on their health inspection. They received 100 on their last two inspections which is impressive for most food establishments. Unfortunately I observed at least three major issues while watching an employee preparing our food today. First, the employee was texting on his cell phone behind the counter and in the food preparation area. Second, he placed his cell phone on the shelf above the food preparation area. Cell phones are incredibly dirty and do not belong in an environment with food. Third, the employee did not wash his hands prior to beginning preparing our food. I politely got his attention and asked him to wash his hands prior to touching our food. He looked at me like I was crazy. I explained that he needed to stop touching the food and the boxes that held the food. He picked up a plastic glove and shook it at me as if to say I'm going to put a glove over my hands. I know that employees are required to wash their hands prior to preparing food especially after they've been touching items that are not food safe.
Looks like they need a mystery inspection to actually make sure they are following health...
Read moreTrying these Korean Hot Dogs/Beef sausages were on my bucket list. After years of watching K-Dramas and seeing these Hot Dogs/Beef Sausages - I was more than thrilled to see these avail at the Market. I am hooked - they were so good!! My daughter asked when we could come back for more before we even left the parking lot. I will be a repeat customer for sure. Great service, friendly staff, great tasting, and great location for me since I shop at the Nam Dae Mun Farmers Market frequently. Order placed are made to order and are freshly served. It may take a few minutes for your order, but definitely well worth the wait. They are going to need more tables - these are going...
