This is the worse IHOP I have been to in the 7 years I'ved lived in GA. We went yesterday, Sunday Sept. 12. The wait was not long and it wasn't too crowded but that was the best part. The host took us to be seated. We wanted a booth but they were all full. He sat us at a table that was filthy. There was scrambled eggs on the floor under the table right were my feet would have been. He asked "would you like me to sweep ma'am?" Of course! That should not have been a question. But, it don't blame him as he is the host. The entire floor was dirty and needed to be swept and mopped. The dining room as a whole was filthy. Food on the tables and floors throughout the space. It all needed to be wiped down and mopped. The booth across from us left so we switched to that table after I watched the bus boy wipe the table down. Whatever he had in that spray bottle definitely did not contain bleach during these Covid times and still, no one swept. Our server was just okay. She never told us her name and was very monotone. She was efficient. I guess that was all we could ask. Not friendly though. I ordered the chicken and waffles, scrambled eggs with cheddar and a side of fries. Everything came out cold and if those were real eggs then I don't know what real eggs are. I usually get an omelet so scrambled eggs were a big surprise and not good at all. I took one bite and that was it. The texture was all wrong. The chicken tenders were over done and as I said, everything came out cold. I have never had that experience at any Ihop I've ever been to. I will not visit this location again. Stockbridge's IHOP is better. The staff is engaging and friendly and the store is clean. Food is hot and fresh. It's breakfast. How do you mess up breakfast? Having tables set aside for social distancing means nothing if your restaurant is filthy. Also, I noticed the cooks outside in the back playing ball. Made me wonder if they even washed their hands before getting back to work. Definitely will never go to...
Read moreI love IHOP food they have such a wide choice of food that we make this a stop that would make several times a month at different locations. but believe me when I say we will never go back to this location it is the truth. We got there about 2:30 in the afternoon parked in the handicap. Myself I walk with two canes and you can see I had difficulty walking when we entered the restaurant they said it would be a few minutes late which was no problem. They've been can told us a table was ready and we walked and walked and walked around empty tables and they took me to the farthest most corner in the restaurant. Apparently they were only using the booth by the window and the only one available was the one farthest walk that they possibly could have given me. I don't know what their game plan was for that situation and why they would do seating like that but in my opinion it's a losing situation. After we ate and I had to walk back all the way to the front door all the boots that we passed that were empty including the tables had been posted for pickup orders for delivery and the ones that weren't posted for that employees were setting at them. I did see one party sitting on a far side of the restaurant completely apart from where we had to sit I don't know if they requested it but it sure would have been more convenient for me had they taken the time to even ask or care. I definitely will not be going back here I wasn't impressed by the staff and I definitely wasn't impressed by how they were running their dining room. I hope management reads this and does something about it. with them being right next to an expressway I don't see how they're going to have a winning situation or be able to stay open with this kind of supervision. And no I would not recommend this restaurant I love IHOP we eat there frequently but we will never go back to...
Read moreSo. When my boyfriend and I got there is looked like it was slow.. Seating was quick so was ordering. The waitor was ok I'm not sure if he introduced himself... If he did I missed it. The wait time on my order was a little long.. The food was cold when it got to the table so I wasn't pleased with that. I ordered the steak and shrimp combo new on the menu. It was cubed sirloin steak with battered fried shrimp I chose onion rings and buttered corn for my sides and the meal came with 2 pancakes. The steak was ok.... Pretty average. The seasoning was bland though it was cooked well. The shrimp and onion rings were heavy and tasted like they were deep fried in old oil.The pancakes were ok. It would have been better if they weren't cold. They were cold enough that the little scoop of cold butter that they put in the center of it would not melt. I even flipped the pancake on top thinking maybe it was just cold on top, but no, it was cold in the middle too. Even flipped the butter did not melt. They charged full price for a refill of orange juice for my boyfriend and never even offered me a refill for my coke. I wanted to ask for one but by the time the waitor got back we had to leave. It took a long time for the waitor to come back so we could ask for the bill. In total we saw him about 4 times without being checked on to see if we needed anything else. He sat us, took our order, brought out our cold food and condiments, and brought the bill. My over all experience was blahhh. I think if I was going to visit an I Hop again I'd rather visit the location in Fayetteville. Its father from my home but the the people are friendly, the service is great, but most important the food is still hot when...
