Burlington — Local services in Morrow

went to this location, at around 4 PM on a weekday (this past week). This location always has a ridiculously long line. What made it even worse was that while was waiting in line, there was a lady letting other people cut in front of her, thus making the line and wait times longer. Asked the manager to address the situation because it was clearly getting out of hand (other people noticed and were clearly bothered). The manager, who was behind the registers, said she would address it, but NEVER did. In fact, she went to the back of the store or somewhere, never to be seen again.

Meanwhile, another customer who had been waiting in line, started yelling at someone ELSE, for letting other people cut in front of them. The LADY (mentioned above: who had been letting others cut in front of her), ALSO joined in on the yelling. They were all yelling at this person for letting people cut in front of them. Customers yelling at each other in a retail store should warrant intervention from a manager or store leader.

When this LADY’s hypocrisy was pointed out by another customer, (again SHE let people cut in front of her too and ) her family member threatened to start a physical altercation. Went to security and all he said was, “well there’s the manager and you can call 911”.

Again, no manager to be found. Left the store at 7PM and the line BARELY moved. The customers that are waiting become restless resulting in unnecessary aggression towards others.

Seriously, someone needs to take leadership at this store so that there is some...

Time for an honest non-bias review. This Burlington has been my go to for 10+ years.

Pros: Massive selection, this is one of the biggest retailers in morrow and it's typically packed! It may not be the current trends, but there's definitely something there that if you needed, you could probably find. Prices are also good, specially when it comes to shoes, again they're not the latest in footwear but if you needed a clean pair for a night out, you'd find it.

Cons: The line wait can be extremely long at times. I don't think the store plans for random busy days so when they happen they're hurting to keep up. And yes the store can be disorganized at times. A thing to consider however is that it's disorganized due to customers not the employees. The employees are aiming to fix it but can't if the lines are long and have to come check people out.

Legit, besides those two things it's just another retail store. It's not a TJ Maxx, which is smaller and has higher prices but it's also not a high end retailer like Kohl's which is better suited to handle clients.

One of the reasons Burlington is probably packed the way it is at times it's because it's affordable and it has such a large variety that honestly sometimes is just retail therapy to come look for that one item worth the buy in the midst of hundreds of off-brand shirts you wouldn't be caught dead wearing.

This burlington has a lot to pick from but the lines are the worst of any store. No matter the time of year, and only in the early morning can you get in here and there be a decent line. I hate going to this one i travel all the way to Old National just to avoid this line and I literally live only 4mins away from this one.

Update: Just when you think a store can't possibly get any worse this one proves you wrong i attempted to give this location another shot had 200.00 to spend on winter clothes for my son left with nothing because the line is coming out of the corral down the perfume lane to the back side of the store and heading up the back aisle of the men's shoes... absolutely ridiculous.... after spending over an hour feeling like im shopping out of a bargin bin hunting for my son's size. I put it all back along with several other customers due to the line. Several people walked in saw the line and walked back out. The store is tore up. Sizes all mixed in every where all you can do is walk until you see something you might like and check if it's your size. Kids and women's clothes in the men clothes, sizes on wrong hangers. I guess maybe because of demographics they don't care about the appearance of the stores in these neighborhoods cause every one I've shopped looks like this and it's sad and it's a Monday early afternoon. I'm taking my money to Ross they may not have the selection but the shopping experience beats...
