Waffle House — Restaurant in Morrow

The food was hot but really greasy. That’s to be expected. The problem is the deceptive extra charges. I was charged $1.23 for a service charge and a to go fee for $1.23 as well as an inclusive tax of .91 cents. I also left a $1.00 tip although my All Star breakfast was only $11.25. Why all of these extra charges? As I looked at my receipt just now, I noticed that I was charged $1.00 more than the stated price on the menu. That’s definitely misleading but it’s not worth the drive back up there to dispute it. I’m now changing the two stars to just one. The server only rung my order up and she then left to move her car. By the time she returned, the cook bagged my food and passed it to me. This is why I stop eating out. We shouldn’t be charged 2 separate fees for patronizing an establishment. It seems you need us more than we need you and if your service is great, we should voluntarily give you your reward. Thanks for reaffirming why I should just continue to cook and eat at home. You should post a sign about the extra charges at the registers because it is very deceptive and we have a right to know exactly what we’re being charged for. I work here last week from today of these post I was removed from schedule. You will. Be lucky to get food on 3rd shift if you go In or we on break tell me google review 22. I know you had no places open and you came here hungry. Waffle houses within 5miles of this store since pandemic will. Be closed. I be hungry too nothing open I try to feed everyone but people don't care if you serve 20 people in 50mintues. And need to pause they just want they food regardless if you under staffed. 2nd shift 2pm to 9pm is your best bet stock up on stuff I recommend cuz u will be mad coming 3-6am and no more orders probably taken cuz servers like to take randome breaks. I try to feed as many as possible I'm one man. 11.50hr not worth the stress and poor management here at times. Morning is best shift but will be packed 7am to 2pm....ever since pandemic everything is off.
