The best thing about this location from my experience was the training course! The Instructor was extremely knowledgeable, patient and direct. Everyone in my class passed from his expertise in motorcycle riding. The reps on the sales floor were also great! Customer service was top tier. Made you feel at home and also very knowledgeable about all the bikes for sale. Highly recommend a purchase of one of those rides.
The worst part about this location is definitely the service shop. Took my ride in for fluid exchange and 2 weeks later noticed my coolant tank was bone dry and the reservoir cap was missing. The dealership Immediately towed it back which was awesome. The head secretary Wayne asked the tech about it and his reply was that he saw the cap was missing but didnât think anything of it and never worked on a V Rod before so he was unfamiliar with it. Quite honestly I donât think he did a flush at all, but thatâs something I canât prove.
Wayne said I needed a new radiator cap now due to this in which he would order it. A week went by and I didnât hear back from him. I went up there and he immediately got frantic and said that the part was on back-order until December 2025! I told him that I would get the part myself in which I did from another Harley Dealership. 7 days later to my surprise when I delivered the part to Wayne, he literally looked in the part bin and saw the back-order radiator cap already in there. For whatever reason no one installed it on my bike. This was 3 weeks in that they had my ride and did nothing to it. No apologies, no empathy, nothing. He just placed the blame on everyone else in the facility stating nobody tells him anything and itâs not his fault. He even accused me of lying today when the job was partially complete when I said that the shop foreman JT used my parts that I provided and not thereâs in which he attempted to charge me for. A quick phone call got that squared away and still no apology what so ever. I say partially complete because when a coolant system is exposed to air it gets air bubbles in it. So it also needed a coolant bleeding which the tech told me he didnât do.
Wayne lacks communication skills and all around leadership. As far as the tech that completed the work, if they all have the same experience as him I highly advise taking your ride...
Read moreI recently visited this dealer because they were the only one open on Sunday and I didnât have another day to get out. I applied for credit online and was approved. Once that happened I got a call from Preacherman within a few minutes to speak with me. He set an appointment with me and I went in the next day. I looked online at the inventory they had and picked out a couple of bikes I was interested in.
I arrived with my printouts of the bikes I wanted to look at and when I met with preacher he asked me the most important question âwhat bike are you looking forâ he did not try to push me into something I didnât want, something more expensive, etc. I showed him the ones I was looking at and he took me to see the bikes but did mention that I could take advantage of some better offers if I looked at new models, again, not pushing me, but informing me.
We ran numbers on a few bikes and as it turns out I did come out better on a new bike.
Throughout the entire process preacherman was awesome, he kept me informed and worked with me. The entire dealer was really amazing, the F&I manager was able to work with me on my trade and get that paid off and gave me a little bump in trade value to cover the needed down payment. The other sales persons who werenât even working with me were absolutely accommodating, they spoke with me, checked in with me, treated me like I was their customer. The people in parts, service, motor clothes, etc were all fantastic.
When it was all said and done I ended up with a brand new bike (my first new Harley) payments LOWER than what I agreed to, and a truly fantastic experience. I could not be happier with every aspect of the process and now I can walk to my garage and see the brand new 1200 iron sitting there and just stare at it. I am beyond happy and want to thank everyone at Thunder tower west for making...
