My wife recently gifted me the AMAZING South Jersey Food Scene (SJFS) Frequent Diner card, and today we visited Boaggio’s Bread in Mt. Laurel to use the card for the first time 😁. It seems like we were the first ones to use the card at Boaggio's as well 🙂. This place is such a GEM and we are SUPER grateful to have found it. The moment we walked in, we were blown away by the diverse and unique various offerings inside this Italian restaurant/bakery/store - I think the pictures speak for themselves! We were greeted by the most genuine smile from JAMIE (!), who was so courteous, answered all our questions, gave her awesome recommendations, did her best to accommodate all our requests, and totally made us feel so warm and welcome ❤️. The cheesesteak sandwhich on seeded bread was the highlight of our meal. We got it with peppers, onions, American cheese, mayo, and ketchup (and a side of hot peppers for me, which were so good!). The steak was soft, flavorful, and fresh/hot - one of the best cheesesteaks we've ever had! The Screamin Eagle Sammie was also an awesome buffalo-infused sandwhich on a soft brioche bun. We bought San Carlo pesto-flavored potato chips to eat with our sandwiches, and these chips smelled and tasted like fresh bread dipped in Italian oil/seasonings. Jamie also let me taste a spicy turkey meatball, and it was very good! For dessert, we got a chocolate "lobster tail" and let me tell you - that was the right choice! The chocolate filling paired with the wonderful texture of the pastry was INCREDIBLE. We are so grateful to the whole team there. We can't wait to come back and try so many of the other items they offer at the store and on the menu (including the pizzas!). If you want fresh, QUALITY food with a smile, Boaggio's is serving it up! HIGHLY recommended!!!

Shout out to Boaggio’s Bread in Mt. Laurel! Donna Boaggio and her staff definitly live up to the slogan "enter as friends and leave as family." Some of the friendliest family and staff members that I've come across at a small business. The menu is pretty big. Highly recommend taking a look at it online before showing up. I went for the banging pork sandwich with provolone, long hots, roasted peppers, and broccoli rabe. The $20 tag sounds like a lot, but the sandwich is about the length of your forearm. For a normal apetite male, it will be enough for 2 meals, ladies make it 3-4 meals! This sandwich really hit the spot. The bread was soft and chewy, and I had concerns it wouldn't hold up to this type of sandwich, but it certainly did! Love the garlicky flavors from the broccoli rabe, the nice heat from the long hots, complimented by the sweetness of the roasted peppers. I'm still at work looking for someone who has a mint or gum! I also couldn't leave without trying a square of the upside down pizza. Really great crust, and I loved the pizza sauce! It had just the right amount of sweetness. I am looking forward to coming back even just to grab a loaf of fresh bread to bring home. Boaggio's lives up to the hype!

I went into this place today for lunch. I ordered a chicken sandwich with provolone and Broccoli rabe. The bread is fantastic. It was nice crunchy and light. The chicken cutlet lacked flavor and so did the broccoli rabe. The bread made the entire sandwich. I come from Brooklyn so finding good bread in south Jersey is next to impossible. They definitely came through. I also got my favorite Italian Chips San Carlo. I will post a picture of the ingredients. Please look at the ingredients, and compare to an American bag of chips, and see how this country kills people with processed foods and carcinogens. This is why the obesity rate is out of control and America has the most unhealthiest children. I also bought a large can of Ciao Tomatoes which are the best tomatoes you can buy here in the states from Italy. There even better than Mutti tomatoes. My wife likes Pignoli cookies so I bought 12 of them for an outrageous price of $29.00. Overall the place is nice but prices are ridiculous. I will return though for the bread. The bread is definitely worth the trip.

The food is perfect, the portions and ingredients are right on . The only downfall that limited the amount of money I wanted to spend was the service received. I showed the woman what I wanted off "their" website that was advertised as a staple of over 30 years. She claimed that doesn't exist anymore than she opened a menu and said they have something close to that ( it was EXACTLY what I showed her I wanted from their website???) She asked long or short i had to correct her 3x that I wanted long? Then it came to seeded or not? I replied "not seeded" and had to once again repeat myself numerous times. I told her I wanted to look around a little to order more and she hurried me to close out my order. I asked if they had any Saint Joes cake and she "educated" me that they don't and that season was done. She was clearly irrated that I was there, when she turned away I quietly asked the other woman ( I believe the 2nd nice woman may have been the owner) what the green cannoli cake was in display, with a soft polite, welcoming response she said " oh that's our saint Joe's cake"?????? I was pissed, I brought a client their with me to discuss future endeavors .. they lost their interest and appetite over the initial rude lady and services "not provided". For the record she wasn't young and new, she is mature and should know better and should have enough dignity to look for another...
