Starbucks — Restaurant in Mountain View

I had been meaning to catch up with a close friend of mine for almost 3 yrs ( COVID .... Social distancing... traveling) so finally today was the day we both got some free time so we decided to catch-up at Starbucks Mountain View location.

We decided to order Lemonade since it's was hot outside- I choose Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade This tropical-inspired pick-me-up--crafted with a clever combination of vibrant lemonade, sweet mango and refreshing dragonfruit flavors and hand-shaken with ice plus a scoop of real diced dragonfruit.

My friend choose - Strawberry Açaía Lemonade Sweet strawberry flavors, passion fruit and açaí notes balanced with the delightful zing of lemonade, served over ice with freeze-dried strawberry pieces. The ultimate pick-me-up your afternoon is calling for.

We loved both the drinks it was refreshing given it was very warm outside...

Since we had lot of catching up we choose to sit outside where we can talk without disturbing anyone....

The Positives: It stays open late every night (around 10pm or so). The staff are super friendly and accommodating. There are a good number of power plugs everywhere for laptops/phones. Amazing music. If you are a jazz/blues fan like me, you will love their taste in music.

The Not So Great: Parking is challenging, had to circle for a while to find a well-lit spot. Super super crowded at certain times. I came on a busy Sunday; it was packed for a couple of hours, with a line went out the door. NOISY - this happened during the busy hours; there seem to be a ton of kids that visit this establishment. New offerings are just ok. Tried the Iced Cascara Coconut Milk Latte and for me personally, it was bland. Note that I am not a serious coffee drinker, so I prefer the Iced Tea Infusions as they are...

I’m writing this review based on my most recent visit to this location. When ordering a standard menu drink, the employee taking my order literally asked me about every ingredient in the drink and how they should make it. It ended up confusing me more about what I usually get when I order this drink, because I do not actually know how they make it. And when my boyfriend wanted to order a new menu item, that same employee didn’t even know it existed and basically pushed us to order another drink. This was a very unpleasant experience, and ended up taking up a lot more time than usual. I feel bad for the people in line behind us!
