The Sandwich Spot — Restaurant in Mountain View

This place has all the makings of a great sandwich shop: Signature sauce: check! Dutch Crunch Bread: check! [it's a crime if you don't have this (jk but really)] More Selection of Sandwiches than you can handle: check!

Stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed! The shop is decked out in bay area sports team colors and pictures so if you're not a fan then sucks for you. Luckily, you can order a sandwich to make it all better. There isn't that much seating available in the store, just a couple of tables for groups of 2 - 4. I was a little bit relieved to see the line because that gave me time to decide which sandwiches I wanted.

The SF giant is a popular one and it's delicious! The chicken is tender and covered in avacado and sauce. The vegetables and topping gives it a nice refreshing taste and balances the creaminess from the sauce and avacado. The bacon and dutch crunch bread adds the perfect crunch. It's good all around sandwich if you weren't craving anything in particular. Personally, I'm a huge fan of pastrami so I got the Posey's Reuben and I thought that was good. It wasn't anything too special but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. For another dollar, you can add chips and a drink!

The service here is good, they really try to make your sandwiches as fast as humanly possible. The employees here are also super cheerful and friendly, so it's hard to get mad at them because of that. I did wait a bit after ordering for my sandwich but I didn't mind it too much, but if you're in a hurry then I would...

Omg!such good sandwiches..I can't begin to tell you all how good their sandwiches are!!!IAM a huge fan of sandwich spot ever since I first went to the redwood City branch...omg they serve sandwiches and there's hookah... literally icing on the cake!!IAM a big hookah person and sandwiches with that is just epic for me!do try redwood City guys you will definitely not be disappointed!!!!!!hehe..sorry I just got distracted 😂😂coming back to the point!so one random afternoon very lazy to cook IAM in mood for sandwiches and I search on Yelp and come across this heaven which is a mile or two away from where I stay and I order an Annette's veg (a very basic vegetarian sub with loads of avocado ..also cz I love avocado )and trust me it was the best sandwich I've had for a very reasonable 6$ which let me tell you is huge and could just have like half of it for lunch and the other half I utilised for dinner hehe..their sauces are crazy and very well made not greasy!!!their staff is super sweet..they take utmost care of their customers and make sure they are happy with the meal!!all in all an amazing place for a go to or a sit down meal if you luuurvvv...

I’m a dasher and always get larger orders from this place. The lady who seems to be in charge is rude each time I come. After waiting for 30 min I noticed no one was working on my large order. I simply asked her how much longer she thinks it will be so I can tell my customer. She Looked away from me and said I don’t know. What kind of answer is that? Again I only asked as I can see my order is not being worked on. I can see half the sandwiches are done and just sitting there. There should be at least one person at the very least working on this order. They have at least 4-5 employees here. I’m only posting this as this seems to be a norm for this place and her disrespect towards dashers is obvious. If you can’t fulfill the orders on time don’t take large orders and if your running behind be nice about it....
