Yogurtland Mountain View — Restaurant in Mountain View

Awful experience. Went in with my boyfriend at around 8pm on Friday 12/6/2019. The place was a complete mess and there were no employees to be seen. Floors were dirty, trash cans were overflowing, and the toppings area was disgusting. My boyfriend needed to use the bathroom and needed a key. He had to almost go behind the counter to get the attention of the two employees sitting in the back, as not even yelling got their attention. The employees were playing music or watching something on their phones in the back room. When we did get their attention, a woman walked out, not in any sort of uniform (she had a jacket on so maybe the uniform was under that I don't know). She didn't say hello, just stared at us. We asked for the restroom key, and she started looking for it and seemed to not know where it was. She went back into the back room without saying a word. We left without getting anything and without my boyfriend being able to use the restroom. The seating area was so gross I don't think I wanted to eat anything...

That was officially the LAST time I go there.

It was great when it first opened and management cared. Twice I've gone and it's been closed during business hours. The other handful of times, staff is rude and it is VERY dirty... floors, tables, machines, and topping bar. On this last visit, the rag in the pic fell on the ground, they picked it up, cleaned the machine handles with it, then just put it on a table and left it. Under the table is the residual mop water. BARF.

Service sits on a chair behind the register and does nothing. Worse issue is the yogurt. Either their variety is non-existent or the consistency is BAD. Like sorbet/ slushie bad. Originally, and you will find in other stores, it's creamy and smooth. This is just gross, or resembles feces. I've complained to management and left voicemails and nothing.

Friendly staff at the store. It has been a while since I've visited a Yogurtland. Sanitizer, food service gloves provided for you to make your own cup. Mine had: strawberry, plain, pineapple sorbet, and mango tart. No toppings on mine. If you wanted toppings, the staff would have to add them for you.

I read the recent reviews which were troubling. However, the store was nothing like I was expecting. Most of the machines were running, 1 empty spot. All 4 flavors that I tried were the same consistency and not icy.

I think the froyo here doesn't look as nice in the cup because the dispenser doesn't have the star tips. So my froyo looks like tubes or blobs of color instead of pretty piped frosting. Store inside appeared to be clean, and you can eat outside at the tables.
