Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

I like to find the positive things about places I visit to share, but the only positive thing about this particular Ben & Jerry's store that I can say is that they sell Ben & Jerry's ice cream. It makes me a little bit sad that the franchise name is being ruined by a poorly maintained store in such a desirable location. This is not the first time I have been to the Ben & Jerry's and noticed that the store itself is not being kept up like a place that serves food should be. On this day there were six of us to order ice cream and the place was empty when we stepped in. There were six employees on duty and the tables were all dirty and the floor was not clean and the windows to the outside were filthy with handprints and what look like long-term build-up of dirt. It is disappointing that so many employees could not see the need to clean the restaurant so that there would be customers. Honesty at its best. This is a big shout out for the team at Ben & Jerry’s at Broadway on the Beach! On the evening of July 3, 2019 my husband and I and our 2 kids stopped in here for an ice cream cone (man, is this the best ice cream!) and our two-year-old became really fussy, and in the kerfuffle to console him, we left my wallet on the counter. It had all my ID and credit cards, and it was full of cash for our two week holiday ahead. Later that night, when I was unpacking my purse, I realized that my wallet was missing! I knew Ben & Jerry’s was the last time we had seen the wallet when retracing our thoughts, and I thought what are the chances that somebody turned it in? I showed up there first thing in the morning when it opened, and sure enough, management had tucked it away in the safe! Thank you to all of the team at Ben & Jerry’s for returning my wallet safely to me, even with all of its cash! Your ice cream rocks, your culture rocks, your staff rocks!...

We visited Ben & Jerry's at Broadway at the Beach on Sunday August 28, 2022 in the evening about 9pm. We purchased icecream for four twelve year old young ladies. We spent over $30.00 and left a tip. I had an iced coffee which I purchased at a different store. I finished my ice coffee and was waiting for the young ladies to finish there 🍨 desserts. I asked the girl with a large loop nosering in her nose, if she could refill my cup with tap water. She told me she couldn't. I said we just spent over $30 dollars here and left you a tip. They also do not have bottled water for sale only sugary drinks. She said she would not fill my drink with tap water because she would be fired for that. Is this what this world has become? Ignorance that breeds more Ignorance. I will never purchase ice cream at any Ben & Jerry's again. Nor will I buy their products in the supermarket. ...
