Pleasantly surprised at this fast food restaurant. Went to another Cook Out but we like this Cook Out better. Food came out hot! We ordered off the $7.99 combo menu. Got both the burgers with cheeses and the Cajun chicken sandwich. We weren’t expecting much because the prices were affordable, especially by adding the 2 sides and drink. My chicken was on the small side, didn’t get much Cajun flavors from it. Got the fresh watermelon shake upgrade on last visit. So refreshing. Cheese bites were addicting and onion rings crispy. Got the walking taco with jalapeños which were fresh and grilled ( I was expecting pickled…the grill was yummy). Fries were good. Got the Cheerwine float and Coke float which was included in our box $, What!?! Daughter got the fresh banana shake and she loved it. She also got the nuggets for a side and it tasted like real chicken not pressed meat. Got the Beef quesadilla. It was good as a side dish. Hamburgers were awesome for fast food! At this location they don’t have indoor seating.

I had a hankering for hush puppies and a local told us to try this place. First, you cannot go inside, either drive thru or walk up window. It's busy so clearly popular. It's a fast food joint and prices are not bad. I had a BBQ sandwich and they put a weird tasting cole slaw on it which ruined the entire sandwich. Leave that slaw to the side, dang stuff is nasty. Maybe spoiled? The hush puppies were OK. But absolutely no condiments included in the order. Some ketchup would be nice. While I'm at it....some napkins please. The shake is more like soft serve ice cream. You cannot drink it. Hard to eat BBQ without a few napkins. One lady had a hard time getting her extra large truck to make the tight turn in the drive thru and they wouldn't let her pick up her order at the walk up. A bit of an uncomfortable scene before manager came and handed the order. I am glad I got hush puppies but considering the hassle, I will pursue hush puppies elsewhere in the future.

I came here on the night of 4/16/21 around 2am. It’s cookout and one of few places open that late. I’m visiting the area for my bday. Of course, there was many other tourists too. The drive thru line was extremely long. I went to the walk up window as the line was shorter. There was 1-2 parties in front of me. Wait was fairly short for ordering. After ordering, it took about 10-12 mins to get the food. One order was a cookout tray and I got a bunless big double burger w/ cheese and bacon plus a side of chili. Note: I’m doing keto. When I got back to my hotel, the burger looked really small to be over $4 ($3 for burger and about $1.25 for bacon and cheese). Nonetheless, I put the burger and bacon on my keto bread and added chili on top. It was good. I ate the chili alone too. They didn’t give me a fork, so I I just had to eat it from the cup (pouring in my mouth), lol.

Let me start this with the fact that I love the food here. I have gone to the Conway Location since it opened and started going to this location recently. I will say that they are definitely not the same atmosphere. Both locations are usually busy and I love that the Myrtle Beach location has extended hours, but you definitely pay for Customer Service with those hours. Unless you get the Manager, you get some pretty lackluster or extremely poor service. It's a shame that a place I love to eat often gets overlooked because I just don't want to have to deal with the attitude or demeanor of the employees.

Two out of last three visits to this location have had me on the phone with the Management. Either from the poor service or the just plain rushing that the employee was doing and his total neglect for my actual order. How hard can it be to ring me out for an extra sauce? Apparently really hard for someone who just doesn't care about their job. The same employee that did that almost had me coming over the counter to knock his teeth in for a side comment he made that he didn't think I could hear.

A bit of a backstory on that encounter. My fiance and her coworkers placed a large order for pickup. When she pulled hers out, she found out that they forgot one of her side items. The Manager promptly told her that he would have that ready for her if she could come up and pick it up. She informed him that it wouldn't be till later because she was passed her lunch and her job was busy. He told her it would be ready for her whenever she came in. When I picked her up from work, we went over to have them make her forgotten item. The Manager remade her entire order and asked that she wait by the counter while he got it ready. While she was waiting, the employees made snide remarks back and forth between each other about the her waiting at the counter. I will refrain from mentioning the comments, except to say that they were both crass and racist remarks.

I believe with these last two visits as the example of what I am going to be running into at this location from now on out, I will no longer be giving this restaurant my business. It's a shame that people who really don't care about their job are making a great place to eat into such a horrible...

I don't know what's going on with cookout they used to be really good but that's the ones down right off of 544. But the ones in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach are terrible your food is always wrong parts of the food are missing it's burnt it tastes terrible and your service sucks!! I hate to be blunt but it's true we went and got walking tacos three of them and they had no meat in them just Doritos cheese and lettuce! What the hell is that that's not my walking taco then I got cheese bites that were burnt there was no cheese in them just bread then we also got burgers that were burnt and they put a whole 3 inch slice of onion on there every ring of onion was on the bun but the burger was smaller than the onions that they put on the roll!! Then we ordered chicken tenders that were fried so hard also you couldn't even eat them!! And I don't know what the problem is but every cookout that I have been to in South Carolina around the Myrtle Beach area is terrible I won't go back and I love cookout we used to go every summer when we were here in Myrtle Beach for 5 weeks of May 5 weeks in October every year for the last 6 years and cookout was awesome but anymore no it's not and I don't want to drive 30 miles to cook out because I want cookout when there's one that's 10 mi from my house but I can't go to that one because they...

One things for sure, they have the best Shake flavor I've ever had, the Caramel Cheese cake shake is addictive, and the only problem I have with Cookout is their size shake comes in only one size which is just way too small,...especially for the price,...I guess you can say that they are very proud of their shakes and they squeeze every dime they can out of anyone who wants to purchase any shakes, count on it that it's gonna be a little pricey,.. but it's most definitely gonna be wonderful for your taste buds,... but in the end the experience will have you feeling like where did it go and you'll want another, but with the price for each, will possibly cause you to either consider filling out paperwork for financial assistance or maybe looking for a second job!!! Lol but seriously everywhere that you go as far as fast food restaurants seems like you're buying stock in the company for what a meal for a single person can run you $15.00 to $25.00, depending on what it takes to fill you up! Whatever happened to things like the .99 cent burgers, and value meals? I mean you can take the same amount of money and go to some decent steak houses or other restaurants that you could consider taking someone on a date to, and the prices could be comparable as far as eating until you feel...
