We love to try new restaurants, eateries and deli’s when we’re passing through places. When we went into Nirvana, we were expecting good Indian cuisine. What we got was outstanding Indian cuisine! We had mixed Vegetable Pakora and Vegetable Samosa appetizers which were both so unbelievably tasty. The garlic naan was very good. We also ordered Goat Chettinad and Chicken Tikki Masala which were both outstanding dishes! The real star of the show was the Kadhai Lamb which was the best lamb I have ever eaten. My wife who generally refuses to eat lamb had two helpings of it, it was that good. When we first got in there, the owner, I assume, listened to how we said we wanted to try a little of several dishes. We also asked about some of the dishes and he proceeded to explain to us how they were made. You can tell this man takes a lot of pride in how he runs the restaurant and serves customers, striving for the best and it showed in the entire experience. Back to the trying of several dishes. With what we said, he laid the table out for sharing so we could take off of all the dishes, each one with its own spoon, in a truly shareable style. I can’t say enough good things about him, the restaurant and the whole experience. If you like Indian cuisine and are either there for a while or just passing through like us it would be a disservice to yourself not to stop by and enjoy. Thanks for reading

It's been 3 days and I have not had an Indian meal. Ofcourse I had to google Indian restaurant near me and we found this... though reviews were okay but I was craving Indian food, so decided to go. ? There was only 1 server and owner. What's with Indian restaurants and their lack of staff? I have seen this trend throughout the coast and it irritates me, waiting for simple items like napkins, or water or if I have to order again- in short service was terrible I have seen that they declined customers because the tables were not cleaned. Anyway, we ordered- * Egg fried rice: simple yet tasty * Chili chicken: indo Chinese style dish which was good- 4/5 * Chicken biryani: well, it's not a typical biryani (like dum cooked or any other variance), it's more like chicken pulav (gravy mixed with rice type)- but it was sumptuous. 4/5 They have spicy levels up to 10 and I choose 8. Surprisingly, the food was good, no doubt about that. But service/parking disappointed me Parking: there are only 6 spots and it was full, I am not sure what to do if you don’t find parking as it is on main road so street parking is not an option either Overall 3.5/5

We ordered butter chicken and garlic naan. They will ask the level of spice. We like spicy Indian food so we asked for level 10. They just grinded raw green chillies to the already prepared chicken curry and served us. I am a regular home cook and follow many YouTube channels of renowned Indian chefs. Nowhere did I learn or see that to make a dish spicy you just mix green chilly paste at the end. That too the green chillies were not even grinded properly and you could see them all over the dish. I felt my whole plate was filled with green chilli curry and obviously we did burn our mouth out of hotness. Anyways we had to order another plate and we ordered it with spice level 5 which they said is medium. That was good. The garlic naan was also good. I am just disappointed with the way they adjust the spice level in the gravies by adding raw uncooked green chilli paste at the end. Sorry if I sound rude but this is an honest feeling.

I deliver from this place a lot and everything always smells great so I had to see what it was all about. I knew it was a good spot when I saw every item individually wrapped in foil or contained, if you value customer experience to that extent then you almost DEFINITELY value the quality of the food. I called to order the chicken tikka masala and the gentleman asked how spicy I wanted it (medium) and if I wanted any bread with it or just that. Normally I just take my food as it comes but it was a welcome suggestion as my inexperience with Indian cuisine is kind of strong. I chose the garlic naan and I am beyond glad I did.

Food was still just as hot when I got home, about 10 or so minutes later and it is very fragrant. You can smell the spices and herbs emanating from the bag. I unravel the foil on the naan and find a couple big ol long slices, buttered, seasoned garlic'd and toasted to perfection (with the little burnt bits ya love). Rice is cooked to perfection and tumbles out of the container grain-by-grain. This masala though? Best I've ever had for sure, which really isn't saying too much but I'm not the easiest to please either. Excellent fully-cooked chunks of chicken and it feels wrong to call this a sauce but it is pure flavor. I don't know all the spices that go into making it but you can taste every single one of them. A couple I can actually point out being cinnamon and allspice. Very delicious, compliments every other thing so well and leaves a wonderfully flavorful and spicy aftertaste. The medium spice hits exactly where I like it to, just before the point of requiring a drink, though I still definitely recommend one.

All in all, beyond pleased with my experience and I look forward to trying what else they have to offer as their menu seems quite complete. I think it'll be hard to resist going back for this knowing just how great...

Horrible service. We went there on a long weekend, and while we understand there was a lot of rush, i expected a basic courtesy that someone would take down the names of people waiting and inform about how long ots gonna take. There was no one at the counter for 15-20 mins, and all the staff happily ignored the customers coming in. And when u try telling them that you are also waiting, they discourteously tell you others are also In line.

Edit in response to owners comments: i do not know who you seated, coz i walked out as the guy in white tshirt refused to note down the number of people i wised to get seated. He only told me, and very discourteously that there were others in line. I did not want to cut and queues and i am very well aware that i did not make a reservation. All i am asking for is a response saying sure we have noted that, and we will seat you asap. Just the basic courtesy towards one another as human beings. But the guys high handedness was a major let down, and i walked out. No matter the rush, i dont agree that you can take that stress out on customers! And yes i do acknowledge that you were apologetic about the confusion, and i appreciate that, but that behavior needs to be followed...
