Dirty, unattended, mistakes, dangerous
I would like to start off by stating me and my wife should have turned around and walked out at the first red flag… we where seated at a table that was not cleaned prior to our being seated. The waitresses actually cleaned the table while we were still seated. I said okay that’s not a big deal….then the rest of the meal took a nose dive. We ordered our food it came out really really fast second red flag because the hash browns were extremely undercooked. I mean raw potatoes and cold to the touch. I’ve provided pictures of the before and after. When my pancakes arrived I asked for a specific syrup. I was told they only have sugar free and regular okay no problem. I’ll have sugar free she said sure. The syrup never came at all I guess she forgot. I had to eat my pancakes with regular because of course my hash browns were not cooked and the waitress was smart enough to just bring us hash browns and not just take our whole meal and do it over. So since I was starving I had to resort to eating everything that was edible. The hash browns came and they were definitely cooked this time but I had already consumed my entire meal by then. I ate half the hashbrowns because ofcourse I paid for them but I am extremely upset and disgusted by this whole experience. The waitress should have offered to make the meals over. I don’t like to argue or make problems so I did as she suggested. I have a very short temper and I don’t want to act ill mannered while everyone is starting their days. Upon leaving I noticed the vent in the ceiling next to our table was leaking drops of water and the vent itself was covered in mold. I mean come on man. The restaurant is dirty. The food is not cooked properly. The waitress forgets things and the suggestion for correcting errors is supplying subpar options. The waitress also did not apologize upon bringing the new hash browns. Myself personally I would have been embarrassed to have such a horrible error take place. I did not let it ruin my day but I needed to say something about this. The food that was edible and provided was nothing special at all.
Have a good day y’all. I’m from New York and the service is leaps and bounds ahead of this sludge service being provided.
I’m sorry but not sorry. Pictures have been provided for proof. Receipts
Also the amount of hash browns given was enough for a child. I left still hungry...
Read moreThis was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any establishment. When I say this I don’t mean a Denny’s establishment I mean any restaurant. We arrived and there was a slight wait (15-20minutes); however this was not a problem. We were seated and shortly after our party was seated two other parties of about the same size were seated. The problem occurred when no particular server was assigned to our area so even though we were seated first our orders were taken last. The server that ended up attending to us was named Renee and she was a pleasure and tried to accommodate us as much as possible. However we had to wait an additional hour and half before we received our orders. Renee repeatedly apologized for the lack of haste in the kitchen. Once my order arrived it was cold, one person of my parties pancakes were burned, and another one’s steak was over cooked. Everything was a complete disgrace to the Denny’s name. Renee spoke with her manager Eric and he was supposed to come speak with us. However, Eric is one of the most incompetent managers I have ever witnessed. He was a complete coward and hid behind the kitchen saying he was helping the kitchen staff out. I have never felt so disrespected by the lack of decency this manager had to even come out and apologize for our terrible service. We were all visiting on vacation and if this was my first experience at a Denny’s I would NEVER visit another one. Eric needs to be trained in management and customer...
Read moreUpdate: we were invited back as the managers guest, and it was a great experience, I kept the receipt so I could remember our servers name, unfortunately I think it fell out of my purse. Our food was very good, but our server was so sweet and attentive, the manager even came by to check on us! Apparently whoever I spoke with the time before was having a bad day, even by the way the other customers were being interacted with showed it was not a normal occurrence.
We ordered take out and what food we got was good, however we were missing one of the fruit cups we ordered (at the time I did not realize they got the burger wrong), so I called, as I paid extra for it, so I would have it later. When I called the lady acted like I was not smart enough to know what to look for (we didn't order that much and I got 1 out of 2 I ordered). Then I tell her the burger that was suppose to be meat, cheese and mayo only had everything. At this point she just kept snapping at me, we'll are you coming back, no apologies for any of it and totally hateful! Since I could not get a word in I hung up, it may just be this one lady, but it was totally uncalled for and frustrating! I really like Denny's in general, but I don't think I will be going back, after my last experience in another state (service was great, but the place was very dirty), it seems they may be...
