I would NEVER step back foot into this establishment again. Let me start by saying I do appreciate them for serving us breakfast past their actual breakfast time. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before going here and coming out of character like I did. First off, I ordered shrimp & grits. My niece also had a plain side of grits with her order. Our grits were not DONE & we still tasted oaks with no seasoning & the 3 lil shrimp I was given were hard. I explained to our waitress that I was not satisfied with the food thinking he was gonna take it off as a customer satisfaction. He failed to offer me anything in replacement. I didn’t even eat the food, literally.
My family & I got to the register & I noticed they still had the shrimp & grits added to the bill. I said NO I am not paying for something I did not enjoy or eat. She went to get the owner.
I was not trying to get out of character but he came out on 10, rude, & very arrogant. I had to humble him for a second. He told me the food was not NASTY & THAT I WAS GONNA PAY FOR IT & etc. And advised the lady to call the police. I told him & all his workers I was not paying for NOTHING & to call the police. At this point I was seconds away from tearing everything up in that restaurant cause he was VERY RUDE. Police came & calmed the situation & I STILL stood 10 toes on what I said. Cause it was either I get REALLY igornant or they let me go. Long story short, I did not pay for MY portion of the food. I guess he thought we were suppose to be scared of the police. I have several successful businesses & I know the role in customer service. He needs to close down ASAP. He met the wrong one TODAY & I will be reporting this business to every outlet & to my 800k+ supporters I have on social media platforms & heavy hitter connections. I have never been treated in such a way I did today from a restaurant & its my niece birthday weekend. Smh. You don’t need to be a business owner if you cannot take constructive criticism and by his arrogant replies to other complaints it shows.
They also lied to the police & said I ATE the food when the camera was literally right there. Liars!!!
I just thank God I did not tear that restaurant all to pieces or put my hands on him when my family & I came with peace as I just wanted to be lowkey.

Convenience: First, there’s no public parking, so be prepared to hunt for a meter and keep the quarters handy (25 cents per 5 minutes adds up quickly). Not ideal if you're trying to grab a quick or stress-free lunch.
Service: Upon entering, we weren’t greeted, despite the place being mostly empty. Only one table was occupied, yet it took our initiative to approach a table before someone (who turned out to be the waiter) asked, “Can I help you?” Once seated, things improved slightly, he was polite and checked on our drinks, but the initial experience set a tone of indifference.
Food: We both ordered the quesadillas with fries and water. The food arrived in about 12 minutes, which was reasonable. However, the quesadillas were underwhelming, more tortilla than filling, light on cheese, and bland overall. They came with a small side of chopped tomatoes and ranch, which didn’t do much to elevate the flavor.
When ordering, we were asked if we wanted mushrooms, peppers, and onions. We said yes, not realizing each addition came with a \
2 upcharge. That added more than \\
10 to our bill without warning—something diners should definitely be made aware of ahead of time.Value: The final blow was the price. An automatic 18% gratuity was added to our bill, bringing the total to over \$50 for just two quesadillas with fries and water. For that price, we expected something far more memorable in taste, quality, and experience.
Bottom Line: J-Mike’s Flavor Station misses the mark on value, convenience, and flavor. With mediocre food, hidden upcharges, and lackluster hospitality, it's hard to recommend this spot to anyone looking for a satisfying meal or worthwhile...
Read moreI’m not sure if it was a lack of training or if the person at the door represented the owner’s views.
Found the restaurant in Google search 4.7 stars with many reviews, but we couldn’t get that far. Parked at a meter on the street, but I didn’t have any change. No problem. I’ll just get the restaurant to give me a change prior to eating.
We proceed to the restaurant through the lobby of an older hotel. Opened the door and are greeted. I told the person I parked at a meter and would like some quarters first off to secure my parking.
She proceeds to tell me that I can park across the street. I question: “in the lot that says the cars will be towed?” She responds. Yes they never tow.” She also adds, “ there are available lots down the other street,” and points in a different direction.
I repeat I just need some quarters to feed my meter, so we can sit down and eat. Hand to God this is what she says: “We are a small local business, and we have to watch our quarters closely. I can’t just…” I don’t know what she said after; I was done.
We turned and left. She did tell us to have a nice day on our way...
