This course was fantastic. I've been to other ropes courses around the world but this was by far the most intense. The staff was super friendly and very attentive to ensure everyone was safe and comfortable. Instead of a track system like many ropes courses use this one is based off of a steel cable and carabiner, which can be a little tricky to navigate but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy. I absolutely loved that at the end of every level they had extremely cold water available which was a godsend after tackling the course. Each level is harder than the next and the third level is definitely not for the faint of heart. I gave it my best shot but ultimately, had to come down a third way through the 3rd level. They were super professional about it and didn't make you feel guilty for not being able to complete the course, though many may find it scary to be lowered down from 30 ft in the air, I actually really enjoyed it, it was the best part of my adventure. Just know that if you decide to leave mid course you will have to be lowered down as there is no form of exit until you reach the end of the course or the easier halfway point. My only complaint is that the staff did not actually check my harness to ensure that it was tight at the beginning, they had me do it myself which I wasn't really confident about and I did notice it coming loose from my shoulders through the course. Overall after a little more practicing and pre-training I would love to do this course again. For adventure seekers this is a must do in...
Read moreWe had a 2 o’clock reservation for a 2.5 hour rope course. We showed up at 2:03. We had already paid and signed the contract and we’re ready to go. The group that we ere supposed to go with was outside of the door getting suited up. When we checked in they said we were late and out of luck. It is going to rain for the rest of our visit so we asked for a refund. They said no. This was $130! They said our group already left. When we asked if it was the group outside the door they said yes and were finally going to try to help us get in with the group. It was 2:10 and by the time he got us our wrist bands they were walking away and once again he said oh well. Her called the manager who proceeded to walk by and tap a no cancellation sign and keep walking! Online they said nothing about leaving promptly at 2 or about no refunds. There was also nothing about it in the contract we signed at 2:27 a manager FINALLY came out. Michael is the only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of the 1 they deserve. He was friendly and apologized and promptly refunded us. Even if it took 24 minutes for a manager to be willing to...
Read moreWow! What an adventure! This was our first and probably not last visit. The primary obstacle course is 3 levels in difficulty and height. 1 the easiest and lowest, 3 the hardest and highest and a children's obstacle course. For the most part, the obstacles are balancing obstacles with a couple zip lines. All safety equipment is provided and explained how to use. They also have a typical zip line and rock wall, both of which were not open when we visited.
You will be put to the test! You will sweat and your fingers and toes will be sore. Go on an overcast day to minimize the amount of sweat you produce. The staff are mostly younger adults, but we saw them safely "rescue" two climbers while we were there, and they did a great job.
This is not a course where you have to solve how to negotiate an obstacle. These are balancing obstacles. The higher the level, the higher balance and upper body strength you need.
Plan on a 3hr day while you're there. It has been the best attraction...
