First time I've stepped into a fast food establishment of any kind since the late 90s, and I'm not kidding about that. I was desperate. I rode a motorcycle to work (75yds from the site), so I couldn't bring along any lunch. It was 5:20PM EST (I work 2nd shift). Only one other person in there when I arrived. She just wanted coffee. One guy on the register and one cooking. The manager was running both the drive thru AND processing the counter orders. By the time I was served a Value Meal, there was a total of 8 tickets backed up behind mine. The Manager was clearly overburdened, but was doing a decent job considering the spot she was in. She had to get my ice from behind the counter, explaining to me that the ice machine in the dining room did not function. Flies around to the point that most of us were waving at them openly by the time I was served. I would have just asked for the $ back, but I honestly had nowhere else within 1min of work on a golf cart I could legally get to. SO.....me and my nearly 8.00 stood there hostage until the process was complete. The worst part of all though? There was literally 3-4 INCHES of dirty, chocolate milk colored water (I'm assuming) STANDING above drain level in a pattern easily 5ft across directly underneath the fryers there. Fry containers, fries, and who knows what else were openly floating on top of the "pond" and the manager kept having to kind of step into partially and attempt to reach over it to operate the fryers. It reminded me once again one of the main reasons WHY I stopped patronizing these types of establishments so many years ago. The whole experience was bad, including the order board, which I had never seen before, which kept changing before you could figure out what you wanted. I'll be right here at this establishment for at LEAST the next 7 months, and I promise you, I'll do everything in my power to avoid it from here on out. I can't tell you how quick you try to eat a "meal" like this when you're desperate for calories just KNOWING the filth the ingredients have been around prior to your purchase of them. Kinda like deserted island only option eating, you gulp it down just HOPING somehow you can use your mind to divert your attention away from what you just witnessed and...
Read moreWorst experience ever. No ketchup, ice, or sweet tea. All but one table was dirty. Not that busy, about 7 people ordered and waited for their food. Waited and waited and waited and waited... One guy only ordered a frappe and it took like 25 minutes. Then our food finally came up so we asked for our sweet and sour sauce and the guy waiting on us said there's no sweet and sour sauce then he wiped his nose with his hand, passed me the ketchup I had asked for and shoved My tray towards me. My wife, who was waiting patently beside me with our granddaughter, said "I don't want to eat here now" then said to the manager who was standing right there "we just want our money back". The manager grabbed our reciept and a couple others from other people who also requested a refund and said very rudely she would get to them when she had time and walked out back. We waited at least 20 minutes for her to even show her face again. While I was inside waiting for our refund my wife took our granddaughter outside to wait since it was total chaos inside. During that time the guy who wiped his nose then handed me ketchup clocked out, went outside, hopped in his car, and sped out of the parking lot. On his way out he rolled down his window and yelled "you can go to hell!" at my wife who was again just standing there with our 4 year granddaughter. Will be calling the corporate office. So will a few other people who were there and...
Read moreFor a place that should be efficient in a busy area, they're terrible when it's SLOW. Stood at the counter 17min nobody ever walked up as I walk out the Manager comes in from smoking. Then I hit the drive thru and was the only vehicle the guy said "its busy best to use the drive thru". So I'm the only person in the drive thru, was approx 3 maybe 4 vehicles the entire time I waited inside, nobody in front of me inside 1 person behind me, and one waiting a half hour just to be handed their food. That's busy for McDonald's? After that I order nuggets, a burger, and a small fry was told to pull up and wait. So then I wait another 10 minutes for a wrong order have no idea why they gave me that food but after the prior 2 times im fed up and left. When they bring out your food never once got a here you go have a nice day. They hand it to me said "here" and left. After coming here 3 times in a week while literally appearing very non busy, twice being 1/2 people I've never once been given my food at the window. I've had to pull up and wait all 3 times for at most 3 items. Small towns with 1 McDonald's have lines non stop and can get them in and out never lacking service. But for some reason EVERY McDonald's down here can't make a 10 piece nugget and small fry less than 15 minutes. STOP LEAVING PEOPLE STANDING UP FRONT IN THE STORE you all see them, walk up there walk...
