The WORST Starbucks in Naperville. Rude staff who ignore you when you come in. I placed mobile orders with them and 5 times in a 2 week period, they only had my coffee ready. I’d ordered breakfast on my way to work as well. First time I figured they were just super busy, second time I started to wonder, 3rd time I said something and was only told sorry. Same with 4th time. On the 5th time after getting the same no response and obligatory sorry, I called. The manager apologized and asked what did I expect him to do? Um, at the very least their job! I mean seriously. Never once while I stood waiting did someone ask me what I needed. I had to get their attention and ask for my food. Never one did they offer me anything other than the sorry. So I stopped going to this location. On my birthday I had the free drink on so decided to stop since it was the closest to me. Ordered my drink, got home before I took a sip. It was NOT the anticipated Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, but a basic coffee with cream. Ugh! Dumped it. Gave them one more chance yesterday. Ordered my Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, classic oatmeal, and a protein box for lunch. Success on the coffee, but no oatmeal or protein box ready for pick up. Asked for them, received the protein box and had to ask AGAIN for my oatmeal. Protein box was the worst one I’ve had. Limp grapes and soft apples. I get these all the time and usually enjoy them. Read moreFirst, I have to admit that I go to Starbucks way more than I should. :) Though there are 3 locations nearby us (we're in the center of the 3), this is our preferred one due to the quality of the staff, efficiency, and order accuracy.
Today, we went through the drive-thru to get a couple of iced coffees, no sweetener with a splash of their vanilla sweet cream, a strawberry acai refresher, a cup of ice water, and a pup cup! Our pup Sabine LOVES the whipped cream and staff is always happy to provide one for her. Everything was exactly as ordered and staff was pleasant. They even gave 4 straws without me requesting (I always prefer a straw), they might have recognized our "usual" order!
On other visits, we very rarely have issues and if any, they are quickly and courteously resolved. They are sometimes low or out of stock on some items but this is rare compared to other locations I've frequented. I don't particularly love the layout of their indoor seating but it's fine for the few times I've gone in to work on projects or meet up with friends. The only real issues are when they get the cold cup lids that don't quite fit right & if you're ordering for delivery through Uber Eats (it is hit or miss on the accuracy of the order) so I'm only able to confidently...
Read moreIt’s much faster going through the drive thru than walking inside 8 minutes for a drink inside w nobody in line in front of me and no line at drive thru. As I come out of the bathroom, which took 2 minutes, there are customers at the drive thru who placed their orders AFTER me getting their drinks before me. Then I’m asking the cashier about it and the “manager” jumps in and starts arguing about 40 seconds until my drink is done. Okay Mr 40 seconds that doesn’t change the fact that a) I wasn’t talking to you and b) you’re still making the drive thru orders FIRST while I’ve been in here for almost 10 minutes. Even though I told him twice I wasn’t talking to him, he kept interjecting and getting a big ole Naperville attitude 🤣🤣🤣.
