Seriously having enjoyed excellent meals on 5th avenue for 7+ years tonight at Casa Neri was the absolute worst ever!! This after confirmation with my wife who never complains about restaurants..... Frozen beef Carpaccio, which was left open on the cutting machine for 45 minutes, followed by our appetizers which were served 10 minutes apart , then returned . overcooked pasta and it gets better the manager asked me how everything was at the end of our meal and I told her unfortunately it was very disappointing..... to which she basically replied oh too bad I'm sorry for that ... So take your business elsewhere as it's one thing when a chef has a bad night and misses the mark but it's a completely a different thing when management is confronted with a bad product & delivery and decide to do absolutely nothing about it to remedy the situation with a dissatisfied customer . Disappointing to say the least on...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I walked in around 9pm and all tables and bar were full but the host, and what we assume was probably the owner, approached us right away and said to wait a minute and he had a table opening up for us. It is a small space but they make the most out of it. It is also so much quieter then all the other places on 5th Ave. Every other restaurant we walked into was so loud and packed we couldn't hear each other standing next to each other. They have a small menu and a good wine selection. The idea behind this restaurant is to offer quality food over quantity. And they did. The portions were just right. If you prefer the larger American portions than this is probably not for you. We split a salad and each had a primi piatti and split dessert. It was just enough and we didn't feel over full. We would come back when in...
Read moreThe hostess at Molto got us a table because they were maxed out at Molto. We showed up without a reservation and we're sad not to get a table at the best restaurant in Naples, but, we were rewarded by taking a chance on this place
We loved it.
It was extremely busy everywhere on fifth Avenue so we tip our hats to their efforts. Service was warm and friendly , the menu was imaginative and delicious . We love sitting at the bar of just about any restaurant and we were happily seated at the bar here We decided to be as adventurous as the menu., know we made the right choices as the couple next to us kept glancing at our entrées while they eat the red sauce pasta The chef came out afterwards, great story, I hope he's able to bring his family over sooner rather than later.
Casa Neary, please...
