Barrel Proof — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I've been in Nashville for 4 years, living in Germantown the entire time. I've seen bars come and go, some good, and some bad. I will be devastated if Barrel Proof ever leaves. It's an amazing bar with better people - super welcoming, laid back, great drinks and prices. I would put the burger and chicken sandwich (spicy!) up against any other restaurant or bar in Nashville. On top of that, the number of charity events, general events, and random get-togethers the bar puts on is second to none.

We finally have a true neighborhood bar in Germantown (that also allows dogs!!) that can do everything, between a laid-back happy hour or a more high-energy night out. Special shout out as well to Hunter - you won't find a better dude in Nashville, AND he can make a mean...

I had the pleasure to work with Jason while planning my brother’s bachelor party in Nashville. Jason was easy to work with and he was the first person to respond to my inquiry for reserving some tables after I reached out to a handful of bars in the Nashville area. Jason handled the conversation and entire experience while at the bar with great knowledge and fantastic service. I can’t recommend checking this place out if you want a great selection of bourbon/whiskey or looking to have a great night with a large group. Was super stoked when I heard about a new bar in Germantown and from the first moment we entered the building, we were met with the upmost hospitality. The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Hunter is especially friendly and welcoming. He quickly makes it his mission to make a connection with everyone who walks in the door and ensures guests’ return.
