JJ has a gift with his barista skills!!!! Subliminal coffee is now my favorite special treat when passing through East Nashville!!!!! AND the chai latte is DELICIOUS!!!!! Love the fact that even if you aren’t experiencing a cold plunge/sauna at LOLU, you can still swing through and your coffee to go at Subliminal! A NASHVILLE GEM!!! Can’t wait for the new seasonal drinks when it warms up!!!

Finally !!! A real coffee that tastes like it was made in Melbourne!!! This guy knows his stuff, and happy to explain in depth all the different beans and flavours…. This has been a long time coming. Subliminal Coffee is hands down one of my favorite coffee shops. Every visit feels more like an experience than just grabbing a cup of coffee(or two). The vibe is welcoming, the conversations flow naturally, and the team always creates a homely feel.

I love that they don't just serve coffee—they share it. I often let them recommend a pour-over and I'll always try new limited drink options. Never been disappointed! I ALWAYS get a cold brew with every order as I cannot resist.

We stopped in just as they were about to close and we got the 3 wishes latte. The owner was super sweet and talkative even though we were there just as they closed, and talked with us about the crawl we were doing!
