Today's visit was the first time that I had eaten here ever it came highly recommended by a close friend of mine. The food is a great value for what you get, the food was incredibly tasty while also being a good portion for the price. The surf staff was incredibly tentative to my questions and my specific needs for the group of people I was with. I definitely will be visiting this location again they are nestled away in a small little section of downtown on the outskirts of lower Broadway towards Vanderbilt easily able to get in the parking lot very good to find parking very easy to get out without having to get ran over by crazy Nashville drivers. Overall was a very pleasant experience the inside decor is very reminiscent of an early 1900s New York style restaurant. It felt very homey inside and I got the sense that the person bringing my food to the table was going to be a local family member if not my very own mother. The bison option is a very small up charge on the menu their menu is very easily laid out it makes it easy to choose an item they make and allow for a substantial number of substitutions whether you would prefer regular meat or bison meat. I highly highly highly recommend visiting this local establishment if you want a fast homestyle quick meal they have a lot of healthy menu options too that's not so vegan based or keto based or whatever that stuff is these days that I don't really care about but it's also possible to get a good meal and that will be good for you on the flip side. To wrap this up, this should be on a list of places to visit in Nashville for all of the visitors that we always have in town. They wont be disappointed.

Would not recommend. Once we ordered our food it took about 30 minutes to come out, which isn't the end of the world. Our waitress did come out to apologize for the inconvenience, however. My wife and I both ordered filets (cooked medium), but mine came out medium rare. Again, not the end of the world. We don't ever complain or send food back so I tried to get through it, but it had too much of a fleshy texture for me so I didn't eat over half of it. Our waitress was busy so by the time she came back to check on us (about 20 minutes) my wife and I were already done so we didn't have the opportunity to ask for it to be cooked more even if we wanted. The waitress came back and noticed it undercooked and immediately said she would say something to the manager. She came back and said the manager was unwilling to do anything about it. At that point I was upset. I asked our waitress to send the manager out so I could talk with her myself. She came back a second time and said, "I'm so sorry but the manager said she doesn't have time to talk to you but she will go ahead and take $10 off the bill." I was more annoyed that the manager didn't have time to check on a concerned customer, and when asked to come over she blew us off. The waitress was very apologetic. We never complain about food, but when it takes a while to show up and turns out to be undercooked something should be done.

Nice classic feeling grill and restaurant. The price point is a little higher than your national chains but much less than the fancy local places and steakhouses. Making this a solid choice for a nice ribeye or NY Strip. For $5 more you can have the same cuts in Bison. Personally I think the bison has a lighter flavor a little more grassy and a bit more chewy, definitely still delicious. They also offer a very large range of creative burgers and this is probably their wheelhouse if you are looking for what they do best. The interior is a gorgeous bar with a tiled floor, cozy booths along the wall, and some nice table cloth tables. I also like the faux art Deco overhead lights. There are also a few TVs but this is not a sports bar. It's not trendy but the traditional approach really works now and then and its comfortable. Still it's not a true streak house. They have a side baked potato, limited seafood so don't look for surf and turf or lobster, and oddly no bread. You do get a nice bowl of lightly pickled cucumber. Drinks at the bar are solid and at a reasonable price for this area, the wine list is pretty minimal. There is free parking. If I was taking my older parents out for a nice dinner that's not too challenging and where we can have a good conversation this would be a top choice.

1st visit to Nashville - in town for a wedding. Had looked to see if there was a Ted's located here because We use to go to the ones in Colorado Springs & Denver when there visiting Our Daughter in college, these 2 locations were fantastic, upscale atmosphere! Made reservations and arrived on time...it took over 10 min. to even be acknowledged by anyone and We knew it wasnt going to be a pleasant experience .... Our waitress was very short in words and greeting and asked booth/table? We wanted a booth...She stated that she had to clean one...this was another 5-10 minutes and there was 2 tables of patrons at the time in the entire place...She never cleaned or wiped it down, she simply put a piece of paper down over the previous tables food scraps...it was disgusting...took 20 min. to get water/drinks...another 20 to get our salads and 1 starter we ordered and never received( were not charged for!)...when we did get our meal ( bison filets w/ sides) that was excellent - Thanks to the Chef!....in that 50 min. She never returned 1 time to ask if we needed anything, we never got our pickles or were asked about drinks... there was a large table of 10-12 that were also upset about incorrect orders and how long it was taking...it was not just Us -! The place compared to the other 2 I've been to was dirty and unkept...Our waitress was somewhat rude and very inattentive...it was ironic, she was wearing a mask, maybe to protect her health, but yet you do not wipe our table down or clean it and that's okay???.... pretty sad! I am not from here and I will not return to this place due to the caliber of service and their cleaning practices...I spent over $200+... and expected a much better dining experience...very dissapointed and so were My Family members...I find no pleasure in writing this, but needed to make someone aware of the poor service that was given..I do not want someone else to have the same outcome as We did....We qork way too hard for...

update Bumped my rating to a 4 due to someone reaching out from the company and offering to make our experience right, they offered us gift certificates which took a few weeks to receive (due to the holidays I am sure) we are planning on going back again and giving it another try, will update again afterwards.

We arrived for a 6:10pm reservation at 630 (we had called to change it to 630 since we had an emergency. Arrived to find out they had not updated our original time of 5pm so we waited for around 20 mins for a seat...not a huge deal...get our seats and wait almost 10 mins for someone to come get our drink orders....kinda getting ridiculous now...then another comes and we order our appetizer of onion rings....still 10 more mins for drinks to arrive...our onion rings were given to another table and they apologized...but it took another 20 mins to get our original app. We were hungry and upset now. Husband finally gets his salad about 10 mins later (before the app arrived btw) at this point its been 45 mins and we have barely had anything. They bring out our onion rings about 15 mins before the main course arrives...everything is great except the steaks are luke warm at best. The food tasted amazing! The wait staff are a failure or i would have rated it a 5. My steak should be hot and i should not have to wait 40 mins for our appetizer or over 20 mins for just drinks. We probably wont go back due to the terrible service. The wait staff were not happy or nice. Sets the tone from the begining. They were very over worked with not enough people on a Saturday night. Wish we had gone on a...
