I am usually a quiet, reserved, laid back individual. But I don't play when it comes to being served rotten food and paying for you to possibly get me sick! Well, picture this ladies and gentlemen and CEO of Wendy's. This morning around 11:00 a.m., went to Wendy's in Brentwood on Franklin Pike to purchase two Apple Pecan Salads, one for "me" and one for my "boss". When I got back to the office and we opened our salads, it contained BROWN ROTTING SPOTS ON THE APPLES and CHICKEN THAT DID NOT LOOK LIKE CHICKEN AND HAD NO TASTE...mushy consistency and also tasteless. I'm sorry, but you don't serve human beings food like that, risking customers' health by using a slogan “Quality is our recipe". Whatchu mean quality is your recipe?? I took it back and asked for a manager very nicely, and the worker did not produce a manager for me to speak with. Instead, he said, "sorry" and uttered something in Spanish to the crew then asked me what I would like to replace them with. What I asked for to replace what they served is not what's important. What is important is serving SAFE, FRESH QUALITY FOOD so that we are getting our monies worth and not risking a trip to the emergency room and time off work from food poisoning. Wendy's train your workers and send undercover customers or change your slogan to Eat at your own Risk! There is something very wrong in that restaurant serving rotten food, and it needs to be addressed ASAP. I came there for a nutritious lunch-time salad and had to take a trip back to there to address the bad food I was served. Ridiculous!! Fix this problem and serve quality food not garbage or just close this location down! We really don't play that over here in Brentwood... you should...
Read moreService was awful. Walked in at 4:40 on a Tuesday afternoon. No one was in line, 1 person was seated in the lobby. It took 5 minutes to even be acknowledged. Amya finally came to the counter and stared blankly at us does about a minute before asking what we wanted. No greeting, no how are you today, just what do you want. My husband ordered, our daughter ordered, a number 5 with no sauce. Amya says no cheese? She says yes cheese, no sauce, Amya sighs and acts annoyed. I ordered a number 6 plain, just the chicken and bread, and was about to say with a baked potato when Amya cut me off and says is that all? At that point I was done and just said yes. Very disappointing, I love Wendy's baked potatoes. So my husband waits by the counter for our food and 2 more customers walk in while the manager stood at the counter with a clipboard but didn't acknowledge them.
The restaurant was a mess. Tables sticky, trash on the floor, a stack of trays on the trash can. The carpet was gross, it felt like someone had spilled a soda awhile ago and it was never cleaned. My shoes stuck.
Where we live we don't have a Wendy's and it's a treat to have your food but this was not a treat at all. Next time I plan a fast food dinner, which is a luxury for us, I will spend 12 at McDonald's around the corner instead of 25 at this Wendy's! I'd generally give this type of an experience a 1 star but because the food was good I gave it...
Read moreWe live extremely close to this place and come here often. I work in a restaurant and i understand how irritating it can be when customers come in right when ur about to close but even when we try to come an hour or an hour and a half before close we are always treated like we are inconviencing them and are extremely rude. God forbid you should need 30 seconds to look over the menu, you will be harassed at least every 10 seconds with "Do you know what you want yet?" In a rude condescending, tone. Every 5 times we eat there our order will maybe be correct once. They don't care about the accuracy of orders as long as they can throw food at you and get you to leave. Extremely dissappointed. Have given this place the benefit of the doubt for the past 7 months but after being treated this way virtually every single time we will not return. Awful. Find...
