I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the disgraceful service I received at your McDonald’s location at 725 E Street in Chula Vista on the evening of July 16, 2025, at approximately 8:40 p.m.
I placed my order in the drive-thru and was told to pull forward to wait for my food, which supposedly needed “a few minutes.” I waited patiently — for over 15 minutes — while multiple cars behind me were served and left. After that excessive and unacceptable wait, I finally went inside to inquire about my order.
What I encountered inside was nothing short of outrageous. The staff had no idea what my order was, and instead of offering an apology or showing any concern, they threw out excuse after excuse and even had the audacity to accuse me of lying about how long I had been waiting. The tone, the attitude, and the lack of professionalism from your employees were absolutely disgusting.
After 25 minutes, I finally received my food — cold and carelessly put together. To make matters worse, during this frustrating ordeal, my daughter urgently needed to use the restroom, and when I asked for the key, I was told that the bathrooms were “broken.” Convenient, isn’t it?
Your staff insisted they were “understaffed,” yet I counted at least five employees standing around, laughing and chatting — clearly not overwhelmed or overworked, just indifferent. They had plenty of time to argue with me but not enough time to do their jobs.
No apology. No accountability. No basic customer service. Just rudeness, delays, and disrespect.
This was by far one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had, and I have no intention of returning to this location. If this is the standard McDonald’s is operating under, it’s shameful.

Read moreWe went there ONLY to get 2 sweet teas, one was regular sweet tea with ice and the other with extra ice and lemon. We ordered and as we went to the first window my husband tells the girl that the last time we went there we got the 2 egg and sausage mc muffins and when we got home one of them didn't have sausage, all the girl did was giggle. We get to the other window to get our teas and as we drive off I taste it and it's unsweetened tea!!!! We turn around and park and my husband goes inside to tell them the tea is not sweet and the girl catches an attitude and says "I just poured it from the sweet tea machine!!" So my husband catches an attitude back and says "taste it then go ahead and taste it" She didn't taste the damn tea but she replaced it with actual sweet tea and my husband says "where's the lemon?" And the manager says "we're out of lemon" 😠😠😠 I'm never going back to this location again or the other Highland Avenue location or the Plaza Blvd location. Read moreWe ordered 4 sausage, egg mcgriddles and 1 hasbrown and when we payed the cashier didn't go over the order with us which is fine because we trusted it and she was busy. When we looked at the receipt she had charged us an xtra mcgriddle that we didn't order. Okay not a big deal. Moving on. We get to the window to receive our food and the person hands us a bag and leaves. We check and we have the sandwiches including the one I was charged extra for but no hashbrown. She comes back we tell her that we're missing hasbrown and she stares at us for a few seconds with no response. Asks for a receipt and we show her and then she believes us. She comes back hand us the hashbrown with no bag just the hashbrown in a sleeve then walks away without saying ANYTHING.
