* Update below at bottom of initial review. --------------------------------------------------------------------- So went just before 5PM today to Off the Strip at the Linq to grab their Happy Hour ribeye & was served at the bar by Julian (unfortunately). I'm local, was served by him 2 weeks ago so when I ordered the same meal he gave me 2 weeks ago at the same time (HH ribeye, quinoa & mixed fruit he said they don't serve fruit during this shift. I said you suggested it 2 weeks ago when I told you I was gluten intolerant & was the same time of day. He had no response. Ok, not a big deal... I said what else can I substitute in, he suggested asparagus. I said cool. Food was good as usual (one of my fav spots) then look at the bill & see $11 for the asparagus. I said I asked you what I could substitute in & you suggested that. Wouldn't it be important info to tell the customer it would cost $11 extra (half the cost almost of the HH ribeye special)? He again had no answer. I said the funny thing is he didn't even benefit from it. In fact that screwed him. I said to him what sucks most is that's one of my fav spots I take friends for lunch or HH when they visit. Unfortunately no longer. It's not the $11, but the principal of it. Couple I didn't know next to me also said that was pretty poor service and shady. I mean look... I tell the guy I'm there for the HH special, he says you made it just in time. I'm like great cause I came across town to get it. I then tell him I have a gluten allergy & ask what I can substitute in as a replacement since he said they don't offer fruit even though he personally suggested it two weeks ago during the same HH time. He says asparagus. Cool. I guess I just don't understand how that sequence happened and you wouldn't tell the customer... hey I know you asked what you could substitute in, but I'm going to just charge you extra for the fun of it. Really is too bad, because I love going there. If I were management I'd look for someone besides Julian to work at the bar. My real regret is not asking to speak to a manager to have it taken off. Update: Was contacted by Michelle their GM within minutes and apologized for how the bartender handled it. Honestly it wasn't a huge deal except the way the bartender handled it made me want to post because of how rude he was about it. I would have been happy with a refund for the $11, LOL, but they went way beyond that which I really appreciate. It's a favorite place of mine cause of the good food, patio section etc so was bummed when it went down like it did. I changed my rating from a 1 star to 4 cause of their response. It honestly does mean a lot.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a delicious meal and great service. First of all, the ambiance of the restaurant is amazing. The decor is modern and stylish, and the lighting is just right - not too bright, but not too dim either. The restaurant is located in a prime spot in the Linq Promenade. But of course, the most important part of any restaurant is the food, and I can honestly say that the food at Off the Strip is top-notch. They offer a great selection of appetizers, entrees, and desserts, and everything we ordered was delicious. They also have a great selection of cocktails and beers, which is always a plus. However, what really stood out during my visit was the service provided by our waiter, Russell. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made great recommendations and was always available when we needed him, without hovering or being intrusive. It's always great when you have a waiter who is passionate about their job and genuinely cares about making your dining experience as enjoyable as possible, and Russell definitely fit the bill. Overall, I highly recommend Off the Strip at the Linq in Las Vegas. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is great, and the service provided by Russell is outstanding. Whether you're looking for a fun night out with friends, this restaurant is a great choice

Lord. I wish I was able to give this place more stars. I stumbled upon this place bc I just wanted simple food..The menu selection wasn't too bad but mediocre which was fine at the moment bc I was hungry and wanted to sit. It was somewhat early day but there was no one at the host stand, NO ONE for about 40 mins and people were just walking to the bar area. There were 2 other parties aside from myself yet the waiter was not prompt. The water taste weird even with a lemon so don't get it. I ordered steak and eggs which is simple...The steak was SALTY AF and over cooked. I had it sent back and it was still overly cooked but I ate it anyways bc I was tired of waiting. The waiter said "next time order it medium rare" uh no bro-i wanted medium which is a line of pink. I had to dab off the sauce from this steak bc it was that salty and being from the south - that's a. Def no go. .. the waiter took forever to refill the nasty water. I also had to wait 35/40 mins for a check and the only reason I got it was bc I asked him when he eventually checked on me [my plate was already taken from me 15 mins ago]..sighs..no I'm sorry --- see pics for how empty it was

Strange, went there a few weeks ago, and two of the items we ordered are no longer on the menu.. wonder why? What a horrible experience. I cannot believe the prices for the food they serve and the fact they call themselves a bistro? I ordered loaded fries to start. As you can see from the photo, what are these? They were loaded barely on top with cheese whiz and strange bacon. I mean not covered in cheese/bacon as they should be (real cheese) and the fries were so soggy. My husband had the beef stroganoff. It wasn't terrible but the beef tasted very low grade and tough. He wasn't happy .. because I made this dish at home and it destroyed theirs. I had this beef, rice, and broccoli dish. The sauce, broccoli, and rice were great, but the beef was what I paid for. It was steak, cut, and cooked MR as I wanted, but I have no clue what type of meat this was. It was so chewy and fatty.. I could barely eat it. We ended up giving our leftovers to a homeless person. I would not recommend this place. The server also disappeared on us for almost 20 minutes. We were without water, which is a pet peeve of mine.

There's a lot to break down here. I just got my to go food a hour and a half ago. I go to eat it...no shrimp in my pasta which was an extra $10 and my waiter double asked if it was shrimp so I know he heard me. I brush it off, whatever sometimes there are simple mistakes, but half way through my meal I find a LONG BLACK HAIR in my food. (Picture to reference how my hair was while eating) I am disgusted, and as someone with sensory issues this was really upsetting because 1.) I had to wear ear plugs in the restaurant because it was extremely loud which are us have to leave, and that's okay that's normal!!! But the waiter could've definitely asked if we wanted to sit outside instead because he saw me putting my ear plugs in 2.) no shrimp! Which was an extra $10 3.) a long hair This is my first time in Vegas and o was really excited to try this place but unfortunately these things upset me. On the flip Side the food was AMAZING ... BUT Hair in food in 2024 is not acceptable. I don't mean to be a Karen but I'm Pretty sure our bill was over 100 which is fine bit not fine for not getting what I ordered

So, my friends and I stopped into this restaurant after the ridiculous line at Hash House A Go Go and the less than stellar review we got from patrons as they left the restaurant. The general manager at Off the Strip, Michael, met us the door, ensured we were seated immediately, addressed our concerns about our food possibly being less than stellar, and introduced us to head chef, Chef Lepe. When I tell y'all that the food was freaking AMAZING! It is the best service I've received since being in Las Vegas, which is saying something as all of the service this far has been excellent. Michael and Chef Lepe and our server, Ivan, made sure we were taken care of, our food was to our liking, and that we had a good time. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious...like OMG, we are coming back for dinner and already know what we're going to order delicious... If you are in Las Vegas, make sure you check out this restaurant. You will NOT be disappointed!
