"May I take your ord--" Hears screaming and doors slamming
Okay, so I wouldn't say this area is problematic, but when you hear gun threats over the speaker to others while ordering your Quesarito, makes you not want to come back.
Swung by for some snackage at about 9pm last night, hyped, and even singing my order with the radio on the entire ride over.
To bring you up to speed, the drive thru is a one lane enclosed route, so if a car is in front of you, and another behind, well, may the odds be ever in your favor...
Three cars were already waiting, van before me pulling ahead, and on my pull up, was asked by a female the typical "May I take your order?" But was cut off. Went ahead and said my order in excitement.
Silence.
I looked behind me to find another TacoCraver in queue, also seemingly singing her order with the beat of the radio. Unfortunately to my later demise, blocking my escape route.
"...hello?" I ask hesitantly thinking of the busyness with the cars ahead of me. No worries as I wasn't in a rush.
No movement.
Then, it happened.
The side door facing the road flung open and a worker and her seemingly angry ex lover(?) we're going at it. Fortunately for me, there was a brick wall dividing the parking lot on their end and the ordering window. Although I couldn't see much besides feet scuffling under the sign across the way.
"Let go of me!" "Oh so you're just going to walk away?!" And "I'm getting my gun from the truck!" we're all yelled over a dozen times. Even some heavy steps and I can only guess as someone being thrown on the hood of a car.
At this point the TacoCraver behind me was in shock and watching the whole event from her viewpoint. Eyes locked on whatever I couldn't see. At one point after about ten minutes a third Craver pulled in as normal, locking both of us in.
Finally I heard a male voice come on the intercom, "hey, so we're going to take a break for a bit, sorry for this."
"You got it," as I throw my car in reverse. Luckily the Craver behind me came to her senses and waved to the newest (unknowing) Craver to back up. We made it out, and the scuffle somehow managed to make it's way inside. I can only imagine the chaos in there!!
Alas, my evening was not filled with the wonders of them amazing Quesaritos. And to be honest, won't be coming back here for quite some time. Grant Line Bell, you've now made a...
Read moreI don't know what it is with this Taco bell but the past 2 years I've been going it's been a disappointment every time. I've been 17 times. Idk why. Something ridiculous or crazy happens or they don't give you sauce. I just got a quesadilla with nothing on it. Just a tortilla. I'm gonna have to stop going to this one even though it's the closest. Poorly managed. Staff not held accountable. It's also hard to find workers who give a shit. I'd like to go here if they step it up. They barely pay them so it's hard to care, I know. Also one time there was giant spill ok pepsi on the ground and I was there for 45 mins waiting on a small order even though they had plenty of people. Someone could have slipped and sued. I put the cuidado episode mojado sign up for them. Took me 1 second. And I know they were aware of it because there was a mop sitting next to it. People just standing around. Also another time I went there and they couldn't give me what I wanted because they hadn't thawed out the shells for the chalupa. That's a common popular item and the manager should have been following up with the staff to make sure they had the tools they need to fill as many orders as possible. You know, to keep customers coming back and making as much money as possible. I guess these people don't like money. I'd be embarrassed if I was manager and corporate saw how this was run and who they were hiring. And this is one of many other stories I have. It's been like charlie brown trying to kick the football. I keep thinking maybe it will be ok. And don't go through the drive through, you'll get stuck for a long time before...
Read moreTerrible, the staff was apologetic after getting a bit brash, but they assured me my whole order was in the bag, was missing 2 key items to 2 of the 3 meals I had ordered, everything was luke warm at best. They were also out of key ingredients to a massive part of their menu i.e. the liquid "cheese" sauce and sour cream. I'm not calling an complaining at least not tonight, that staff has already had a bad enough night as is, and I understand a lot of places are having issues with supply and demand at this time as well. But it really tipped the scales when I didn't even get my whole order even though the drive thru attendant had assured me it was all there, as they were still super busy and I had noticeably rude customers behind me, I decided to not make a bad night worse for the staff as much as I could and went ahead believing they had at least given me all my food. This is not the first bad experience with this location, but it definitely tops the list of bad drive thru experiences. Real cherry on top was the drive thru being set up where you cannot pull out if they don't have what you want, even with my tiny car I couldn't see how I would possibly be able to even squeeze past another car the size of my own. 1/10 rating for this experience, and only give the 1 because I have been in their shoes and they were apologetic and addressed the issues with care for what they were capable of, other than double checking the ticket/order before...
