Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in New Bern

I'm usually very happy with Jersey Mike's I love this place they are always good but last night I ordered my food over the phone and I asked them to not make it Mike's way and the boy who took my order repeated it to me to make sure it was right, well my fiance was the one to pick the order up and brought it home by the time he picked it up and got home with it, it was right at 9:00 now mind you I live and hour away so it took an hour to get there and and hour to get back home with the sub, so when he got home we went and opened the sub and it was wrong they made it Mike's way witch has lettuce,tomatoes,(onions which I hate), as well as oil and vinegar so by the time we opened it up the whole sandwhich was a soggy mess it was not good at all but that's all we had at home to eat so we didn't have a choice but to take all of the toppings we didn't want and eat it because by this time they were closed plus I was not going to drive another hour to get it fixed plus another hour to bring it home, so we called today to tell them what happen and that we would like them to fix it and the manager wanted us to bring the sub back with the receipt if not they wont fix it, to that's wrong I took a picture of the sub and how it was messed up but yes I did eat it because I didn't really have a choice, but we still have a half of the sub left so I guess that's what they want back! That's the most absurd thing I have ever heard so right now I'm NOT HAPPY with them at all because basically this was there fault and they wont fix it so now I spent 15$ on a giant sub and the gas to get it and bring it home and they wont give me a new sub for their mistake! I love Jersey Mike's and I've eaten at this location several times before, but had a really unfortunate experience this time. I placed an order online for my family (three subs, three bags of chips, and a bottle of soda). When my father went to pick the order up, the cashier listed everything off in the order out loud to double check that he was giving us the right stuff and handed my father a bag. When he got home, we discovered that they didn't pack the soda or the chips with our order. Mistakes happen and we don't live too far away, so my dad just hopped back in his car to go get the rest of our order. No biggie.

When my father went in, he approached the same guy who gave him our order (white guy roughly in his mid-30s) and explained what happened. The guy stared at my father and just told him where the chips and cooler were. When my father asked why we weren't given the full order the first time, especially since we ordered online and assumed it'd be all packed up and ready to go, he was told again where the chips and cooler were and the guy walked away. No apology or anything. My father even had to ask for a bag to carry the rest of our order out.

Everyone in the family has worked retail so we understand stuff happens. But the lack of acknowledgement was kinda irksome. We weren't looking for a refund or anything that would cause a ruckus . We just wanted what we ordered. It didn't say anywhere on the website that we had to pick up the side stuff ourselves on the way out. First, I am not a person that gives a lot of reviews. This is the only low review I have ever completed. This Jersey Mike's used to be a great location. The food was always prepared with care and you could tell in taste and appearance. Over the past few months it has gone drastically down hill. We were eating there about once a week. I've had three bad visits in a row and we will not be back. The sandwiches and bowls are just thrown together. There isn't any friendly customer service. The person that made our food tonight just stood there and tore everything with her hands, nothing was cut neatly and it was all just plopped in the bowl and sub. There was entirely too much mayo and made it more like soup. No one said anything to the customers as they walked in.
